Michael Flynn was framed- it finally hits the fan. Key things to remember

The Michael Flynn case has finally been broken open, thanks to the tireless and wonderful work of Sidney Powell. Two years I wrote a post in which I asserted that Flynn was framed. I believed it then and never stopped believing it. Powell released some documents which demonstrate clearly that the FBI was determined to frame Michael Flynn.

“What is our goal? Truth/Admission or to get him to lie, so we can prosecute him or get him fired?,” the handwritten notes of the senior official say. The notes express further concern the FBI might be “playing games.”

Multiple officials confirmed to Just the News that the author of the notes is William Priestap, the now-retired FBI Assistant Director for Counterintelligence and the ultimate supervisor for fired agent Peter Strzok, who led the Russia probe.

Powell says even more damning documents are on the way. You might be tempted to think “Wow, this is some really big news. Surely all the outlets will cover it.”

You’d be wrong.

There was nothing this morning on NBC, MSNBC or ABC News. There was a small piece on CBS, depicting the story as being a “debate.” The big story was Harrison Ford going Han Solo in a runway incursion.

There are many thing to remember about the Michael Flynn saga.

Remember how the left wing media treated Flynn with no uncertainty

Tale of a traitor: Is the famous betrayal of Benedict Arnold echoed in Michael Flynn?

As I watched the show and thought back to my school days and the stories I read about Arnold’s treachery, I couldn’t help but think of former Gen. Michael Flynn. By all accounts, Flynn was extremely resentful at being fired by President Barack Obama as head of the Defense Intelligence Agency, and nursed grudges against his rivals in the other intelligence agencies. He had been popular with his own troops but others in the military came to mistrust him and considered him a little unhinged.

Remember that Flynn was tossed by Obama for seeking to clean out the deep state. Lee Smith:

“In addition to General Flynn’s name being cleared, I hope that his initiative to get to the bottom of what these people were doing — to audit the intelligence community… that’s something else we need to look at again,” said Smith. “As well, his initiative to clean out the Deep State.”

Powell:

“Oh, exactly,” said Powell. “There’s no telling how many billions of taxpayer dollars they’re running off books for the different intel agencies, particularly [former Obama Administration CIA Director] and [former Obama Administration Director of National Intelligence James Clapper], and of course we see evidence of that… with what was paid to Stefan Halper for his shenanigans. It just goes on and on.”

Remember that Sally Yates used the Logan Act as a pretense to initiate the entrapment of Flynn.

Let’s remember that Flynn did nothing wrong.

Remember that Comey violated FBI guidelines when sending Strzok and Joe Pientka to interview Flynn. Here’s that maggot bragging about it

Remember that Flynn was told he didn’t need a lawyer present. Flynn was never told he was a target.

Remember that the two agents who interviewed Flynn said they didn’t think Flynn was lying, despite them not offering Flynn a warning- a consideration they would offered to the worst of criminals:

“The agents did not provide Gen. Flynn with a warning of the penalties for making a false statement under 18 U.S.C. 1001 before, during, or after the interview,” the Flynn memo says. According to the 302, before the interview, McCabe and other FBI officials “decided the agents would not warn Flynn that it was a crime to lie during an FBI interview because they wanted Flynn to be relaxed, and they were concerned that giving the warnings might adversely affect the rapport.”

Remember that Flynn eventually accepted a plea bargain because he was financially broken and Mueller’s team threatened to indict and frame Flynn’s son as they had done to Flynn.

Remember that Flynn’s law firm was screwing him.

After some recent jaw-dropping revelations in the case; which may include evidence highlighting how the FBI participated in framing Michael Flynn; and certainly contains evidence of an unethical prosecutorial agreement with the former defense counsel, to coerce a guilty plea by threatening to arrest Michael Flynn Jr; suddenly today Covington & Burling discover an additional 6,800 pages of evidence they conspicuously omitted.

Remember that Covington is Eric Holder’s firm. Also remember that Covington lawyers’ conduct was so egregious that Judge Emmet Sullivan ordered them to take a lecture on ethics.

Remember that the FBI altered their 302 interview notes with Flynn.

Remember that the FBI subsequently “lost” the evidence against Flynn.

Remember that James Clapper ordered the Washington Post via David Ignatius to “take the kill shot” on Flynn.

So egregious is the conduct of the FBI that the case must be vacated. As previously mentioned, it will have to wait for what is promised to be even more damning in the way of revelations.

Prof. Jonathan Turley nails it

Absolutely. The FBI, led by the prig Comey, has degraded itself into a cesspool of corruption. There can be no faith in it as an institution until those responsible for this travesty themselves are brought to justice and punished accordingly. James Comey will be remembered as the architect of its ruin.

I can’t wait for the rest of the documents.

General Flynn this is a very round about way to take some of the deep state down, Lets fix em good Flynn 2024!
Burn the 7th floor and foggy bottom to the ground.

There was nothing this morning on NBC, MSNBC or ABC News. There was a small piece on CBS, depicting the story as being a “debate.”

And the way heads are rolling, there will soon be nothing about stories like this one on Fox News either!
Recall the Libertarian, Kennedy?
Fired.
Many other just disappeared without even a note as to where, if anywhere, they were going.
Lately Diamond & Silk opined that more investigative reporting was needed to see why some places had such high Coronavirus death tolls.
Turned out they were right.
Penn. was just shown by coroners to be padding their numbers by at least 200 a month!
So, Diamond & Silk were fired for suggesting Fox look into inflated virus death number, they turned out to be right but they were FIRED anyway!

There are outlets for real news online as long as the Left doesn’t criminalize that, too
But, that’s the goal.

I’m waiting for Greg to give us the straight news on this.

@Meremortal: Just go read slate or vox Greg gets all his opinions from them

I love and respect the FBI but they, under the control of Obama, Lynch and Comey, acted like a police state political force. They were the Gestapo. Truth, facts, personal rights, due process, things that don’t even exist in totalitarian regimes, were not allowed to get in the way of a political vendetta against Gen. Flynn. And what was the entire purpose of it? Well, one, to ding Trump with a criminal conviction of a member of his administration and, two, to try and get the Gen. to testify to lies they needed to further get to Trump and, ideally, destroy him.

The fact that it is so difficult to get these documents released tells it all. It also raises the question of what is Schiff hiding. Democrats are desperate to hold on to the House and take the White House to keep that noose from around their sorry, corrupt, lying necks.

Thank GOD he was able to hold out until Sidney Powell could get there and thank GOD for whomever is footing the bill.

This alone is not changing any liberal minds; hell, they never knew why they were supposed to hate Gen. Flynn anyway. I’ve seen it today; “He’s guilty, he’s a traitor, his son is a traitor” even though, when asked, they can’t even tell you what the “crimes” were. But, holding the people that went after Gen. Flynn is going to lead to who was calling the shots and that will lead further and further down into the Obama sewer… because that is were it all originated.

Based on what came out today, it all points to one person- BHO.

HUGE REVELATION: Latest DOJ Documents Released In Flynn Case Reveal Obama White House Was Running the Operation

https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2020/04/30/additional-11-pages-of-fbi-documents-unsealed-biggest-surprise-president-obama-implicated/#more-190471

Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his contacts with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. He did, in fact, lie to the FBI about his contacts with Kislyak.

Flynn is also thought to be the unnamed “Person A” who was secretly providing lobbying services to Turkey. Failure to disclose that before taking the job of a president’s national security advisor would not be an inconsequential matter.

Flynn’s misfortune was to fall into Trump’s barrel of soon-to-be-rotting apples.

@Greg: You never get things right. If the FBI threatened to throw your son in prison because they could also gin up something about him, would you agree that you had lied? Likely not since you only care about yourself. So, you will never believe the original documents that are being released? You are a fool and have no idea how important ethics are to the survival to our country.

@Greg: Unfortunately due process and facts disagree.

Indictments to come…

@Greg: Just compare the investigation of Gen. Flynn to the investigation of Hillary. That’s all you need to know.

@Randy: Germans refused to believe the Holocaust happened or looked the other way because the cause of the Party was paramount. Under Lenin and Stalin Russians who were falsely accused of crimes believed they were guilty because the state wouldn’t lie or because the cause of the Party was paramount. Good little sheep just like Greg the Red. There is no reasoning with people like that. They are the number one threat to a free society.

@Randy:

You are a fool and have no idea how important ethics are to the survival to our country.

You’ll never make it as a stand-up comedian.

@Nathan Blue, #9:

Unfortunately due process and facts disagree.

Indictments to come…

Sure. Any day now. No doubt they’re standing in line right behind Rudy Giuliani and his Big Box of Factual Evidence.

@Greg: I know you must wait for the script, but without it how do you explain these documents.

@kitt, #15:

I know you must wait for the script, but without it how do you explain these documents.

What’s to explain? They’re internal notes concerning how the initial interview with Flynn was to be handled. They don’t indicate anyone was “playing games”. That’s a phrase that the White House used in an effort to spin the story. None of this was a game, so far as the FBI was concerned.

The notes don’t indicate the FBI’s violated any law. They indicate that the FBI intended to remain in compliance with the law, and were mulling over how to do that without having Flynn immediately clam up. This was an entirely legitimate discussion about an entirely legitimate concern. Criminal investigation, by it’s very nature, is an adversarial process. Those who do wrong generally are not eager to cooperate in having that fact revealed.

Flynn could have been charged with more than lying to the FBI. He wasn’t, in return for his cooperation. That cooperation then became limited when he was given to understand that he might have other options:

“The defendant (Flynn) informed the government of multiple instances, both before and after his guilty plea, where either he or his attorneys received communications from persons connected to the Administration or Congress that could’ve affected both his willingness to cooperate and the completeness of that cooperation.”

That would be witness tampering, wouldn’t it? Witness tampering is itself a crime.

@Greg: greggie, you have lost your marbles if you ever had any! Too much weed causes loss of the ability to reason. Combine it with LSD and you resemble someone who has experienced that. You need to turn in your law degree!

@Greg: Yes, greggie, there is no room for ethics in your world!

@Deplorable Me: I love and respect the FBI but they, under the control of Obama, Lynch and Comey, acted like a police state political force. They were the Gestapo. Truth, facts, personal rights, due process, things that don’t even exist in totalitarian regimes, were not allowed to get in the way

Have you also noticed the apparent glee with which local, county and state police have morphed into Gestapo under their Leftist leaders’ shutdowns?
There aren’t even statutes against taking a chair to the beach but that doesn’t stop police from threatening a couple in their 90’s with fines and jail time!

@Greg:

Sure. Any day now. No doubt they’re standing in line right behind Rudy Giuliani and his Big Box of Factual Evidence.

I do have to laugh at that..having watch some of Rudi’s “bombshell” claims of evidence that we’re all still waiting to see.

But all of that aside, Durham is running a real investigation with actual due process. I don’t care if anyone gets nicked. I just want the truth.

Flynn is going to get exonerated, though.

@Nan G:

Have you also noticed the apparent glee with which local, county and state police have morphed into Gestapo under their Leftist leaders’ shutdowns?

Democrats show a distinct tendency towards a police state. They’ve been salivating over it since Trump became President because they watched their liberal dream vanish.

@Nathan Blue: Greg can’t understand using evidence to prosecute a crime instead of incrementally leaking it to try and establish a false narrative.
