democrats whip two black representatives for wandering off the plantation

Last week state representative Vernon Jones(D-GA) made a statement in which he endorsed Donald Trump for reelection as President

In an interview with WGCL-TV (CBS 46), he referred to Trump as the “leader our country needed. A generation of African American families have been devastated by draconian policies that Joe Biden supported and voted for when he served in the U.S. Senate,” he said. “A change was needed and President Trump took action.”

Brandon Phillips, a Republican operative and former chairman of Trump’s 2016 campaign in Georgia, was delighted with Jones’ decision — one he says Jones had mulled over for years.

“Vernon has been a Trump fan for a while,” Phillips said. “Glad to see him putting Georgia first over party.”

….

“There are a lot of African Americans who clearly see and appreciate he’s doing something that’s never been done before,” he told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “When you look at the unemployment rates among black Americans before the pandemic, they were at historic lows. That’s just a fact,” Jones added.

That didn’t go over well with the plantation masters

But top House Democrats were not so impressed. Many disagreed with and expressed feelings of betrayal by Jones, who over the years, has proved a controversial figure in politics who has faced backlash from both colleagues and constituents over his decisions.

“We’re not sure what was on Vernon’s mind. It’s antithetical to what we believe in,” state Rep. James Beverly, D-Macon, the chairman of the party’s House caucus told the Atlanta newspaper. “We can’t support an ideology that’s diametrically opposed to who we are and what we value.”

State Rep. Scott Holcomb, a DeKalb Democrat who represents District 81, was not so surprised.

“They’re both incompetent narcissists,” he told the Journal-Constitution. “This isn’t surprising.”

Jones then said that he would leave the “plantation”

A Georgia Democratic state lawmaker announced Wednesday that he will not complete his current term, a week after he got blowback for endorsing President Trump, and said he is “leaving the plantation,” an expression popularized by black conservatives and independents.

“I’m sick and tired of me and my family being attacked and harassed by the Democrat Party for putting my country before my party,” state Rep. Vernon Jones, who is black, said.

“Turn the lights off, I have left the plantation . . . I intend not to complete my term effective April 22, 2020. However, I will remain woke and vigilant in educating and fighting for my people,” he said.

After a great outpouring of public support for him Jones had a change of heart:

Representative Jones made news Wednesday saying he was resigning his office one week after endorsing President Donald Trump for re-election. Thursday afternoon, Jones released a video on Twitter saying he received so much support for his stand, “was too great for me to ignore.”

“I will not let the Democrats to bully me into submission,” Jones said. “I will not let them win. I will NOT resign. (emphasis his) #MAGA”

Good for him.

Earlier in April another black state representative- Karen Whitsett – had the audacity to credit Donald Trump for her recovery from COVID 19 by the administration of hydroxychloroquine, which she feels saved her life:

DETROIT – State Rep. Karen Whitsett (D-Detroit) found out she had tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) the day her friend and House colleague died from it.

Her health was deteriorating fast and she prevailed upon her doctor to get hydroxychloroquine for her.

“I thank God the president of the United States mentioned that drug because it did save me,” Whitsett said.

Well, that wasn’t going to go unpunished by the plantation masters

Democrat activists are considering a resolution on Saturday that “admonishes, rebukes, and reprimands” state Rep. Karen Whitsett (D-Detroit) after she criticized Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) and praised President Donald Trump over their coronavirus responses.

The resolution reads, in part

State Representative Karen Whitsett has repeatedly and publicly praised the president’s delayed and misguided COVID-19 response efforts in contradiction with the scientifically based and action-oriented response from Michigan’s duly election Democratic leadership … endangering the health, safety and welfare of her constituents, the city of Detroit, and the state of Michigan.

Clearly, black democrats are not allowed to form and have opinions separate from the collective. When they do, the masters try to whip them back into obedience and punish them for their misbehavior.

Remember this the next time someone calls Trump and/or his supporters racist.
