Here comes the democrat clown show

Over the weekend democrats signaled that the clown show has begun. The realization that Mueller is not going to give them what they want has brought democrats to a frenzy. hillary clinton got out of the gate early proclaiming that democracy is in crisis- a “full fledged crisis”:

Sunday after receiving The International Unity Award in Selma, AL, former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said, we were living through “a full-fledged crisis in our democracy.”

Clinton said, “This is a time my friends when fundamental rights, civic virtue, the freedom of the press, the rule of law, truth, facts and reason are under assault. And make no mistake, we are living through a full-fledged crisis in our democracy. Now there may not be —thank God—  tanks in the streets but what’s happening goes to the heart of who we are as a nation.”

The harridan never really gets into details. I don’t seem to share her fantasy. MSNBC is as vitriolic and biased as ever. I don’t see any rule of law being trampled. I do see democrats defending the right to kill babies.

Anyway, it goes on. House democrats are bent on repeating everything Mueller has done. In other words, Mueller has failed them. At the head of this nonsense are three liberal tools- Jerrold Nadler, Mark Warner and Adam Schiff.

Jerrold Nadler, the blowhard from New York, is launching all kinds of investigations:

The House Judiciary Committee is launching a sweeping new probe of President Donald Trump, his White House, his campaign and his businesses. The panel is sending document requests to 81 people linked to the president and his associates.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler says the investigation will be focused on obstruction of justice, corruption and abuses of power. The aggressive, broad investigation could set the stage for impeachment, although Democratic leaders have pledged to investigate all avenues and review special counsel Robert Mueller’s report before taking drastic action.

Nadler said Monday’s document requests are a way to “begin building the public record” and the committee has the responsibility to investigate.

They have no facts, no evidence. They do, however, have feelings:

Mark Warner:

Warner, referring to “the litany of what we know,”  said, “the ongoing negotiations about Trump Tower, well into the campaign, I believe the fact that Mr. Trump knew about the dump of the Wikileaks material, the fact that clearly the meeting at Trump Tower meeting which was not described appropriately, in terms of offering dirt,” were all evidence.

“To me, that’s all evidence,” he said. “There’s no one that could factually say there’s not plenty of evidence of collaboration or communications between Trump Organization and Russians.”

Thus Warner would imprison someone on what he believes as opposed to the truth.

Also Warner

“I have never in my lifetime seen a presidential campaign from a person of either party have this much outreach to a foreign country, and a foreign country that the intelligence community and our committee has validated, intervened massively in our election, and intervened with an attempt to help one candidate, Donald Trump, and to hurt another candidate, Hillary Clinton.”

“Massively”: $4,700 spent on the part of the Russian government.

Then there’s another idiot, Ted Deutsch from Florida:

He continued, “We know the issues about the potential corruption and the president enriching himself while he’s president, a violation of the emoluments clause by having foreign governments spend to enrich the president. In all of these issues, the people who are closest to him have information about what the president was actually doing. That’s why it’s so important for us to reach out to them. I’m just going to say this, John, we’ve, throughout this entire process for two years, the Republican leadership of the Judiciary Committee has done everything they can to try to shift attention away from everything the president is doing. We are now going to focus like a laser on all of these areas — that’s why we’re reaching out and that’s why we’re starting with these requests to 60 people.”

Trump’s net worth has dropped since becoming President by at least $100 million. He gives away his Presidential salary.

This dipstick is on the same page as the other morons

Monday, Rep. Ted Deutch (D-FL) went on CNN’s “New Day” and said that “it certainly looked like obstruction of justice” when President Donald Trump fired former FBI Director Jim Comey while the FBI was investigating Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Nadler:

“It’s very clear that the president obstructed justice.”

Also Nadler:

“It’s very clear, 1,100 times he referred to the Mueller investigation as a witch hunt, he tried to — he fired — he tried to protect [former national security adviser Michael] Flynn from being investigated by the FBI. He fired [former FBI Director James] Comey in order to stop the Russian thing, as he told NBC News.”

Schiff:

House Intel Chair Schiff said on CBS’ “Face the Nation” that he believes “there is direct evidence in the emails from the Russians through their intermediary offering dirt on Hillary Clinton as part of what is described in writing as the Russian government effort to help elect Donald Trump.”

“They offer that dirt. There is an acceptance of that offer in writing from the president’s son, Don Jr., and there is overt acts and furtherance of that… That to me is direct evidence,” Schiff added.

Feelings

Whoa, whoa, whoa

Feelings

Schiff seems not to grasp that legal standards are not based on “to me.” Then, neither do the other stooges.

Let’s take on a couple of things. Trump did not fire Comey because he wanted to stop the Russian investigation. That went on anyway and it got worse for Trump. Trump fired Comey because Comey would not say publicly what Comey told Trump in private- that Trump was not under investigation.

Now, let’s revisit something to put this in perspective. FactCheck.org:

The truth?

Comey Confirms He Thrice Told President Trump He Was Not Being Investigated

It was all part of the plot to oust Trump.

More truth?

Hillary Clinton and the DNC conspired with Fusion GPS, Christopher Steele and the Russians to at first stop Trump from becoming President and then to oust him on a soft coup. The “facts” and “evidence” democrats are spitting out are just so much manure and they know it. On Face the Nation things took a very unexpected turn:

In the latter part of the show, moderator Margaret Brennan pointed out the dubious nature of Schiff’s latest allegations. “[T]his allegation of money laundering on behalf of Russia through the Trump organization but he admitted he had no proof of that thus far.”

That’s a pretty big bomb to lob without any corroboration, I also take issue with his claim that he has evidence of collusion,” Reid declared, suggesting “he seemed to be conflated contact with collusion.

Reid didn’t stop at that. She proceeded to dismantle Schiff’s line of argument altogether:

He says what happened at Trump Tower was collusion. He’s pointing to e-mails. Nothing was exchanged there. The same with the meeting Paul Manafort had with Konstantin Kilimnik exchanging polling data. We know there was contact, we know that but we don’t know what they did with that polling data.

Concluding, “So we certainly have evidence of contact, but a criminal conspiracy so far, there has not been sufficient proof for anyone to be charged in that.

Margaret Brennan actually made a real effort to cut through Schiff’s BS:

MARGARET BRENNAN: Cohen said though in that open testimony, he had no direct evidence of collusion with Russia. The Senate Intel chairman also said at this point no evidence of collusion at this point. Have you seen– do you have direct evidence of collusion with Russia?

REP. SCHIFF: Well I think there is direct evidence in the e-mails from the Russians through their intermediary offering dirt on Hillary Clinton as part of what is described in writing as the Russian government effort to help elect Donald Trump. They offer that dirt. There is an acceptance of that offer in writing from the president’s son Don Jr. and there is overt acts in furtherance of that. That is the meeting at Trump Tower and all the lies to cover up that meeting at the Trump Tower and apparently lies that the president participated in. That to me is direct evidence but there’s also abundant circumstantial evidence. There is for example evidence of Manafort sharing internal polling data with someone linked to the Russian intelligence services.

MARGARET BRENNAN: But–

REP. SCHIFF: Why do that? What legitimate purpose is there for things like that? Michael Cohen’s own testimony was circumstantial evidence that the president was dealing with Roger Stone who is dealing with WikiLeaks and effort to–

MARGARET BRENNAN: But none of this–

REP. SCHIFF: Find out about–

MARGARET BRENNAN: Amounts to–

REP. SCHIFF: Releases of information.

MARGARET BRENNAN: Impeachment grounds for you still. I mean these are serious allegations.

There’s so much evidence that

Schiff, however, stopped short of calling for impeachment.

This is all a farce and everyone knows it. The collusion story fell apart with Michael Cohen. Mueller is not likely to add anything despite threatening nearly everyone’s families, so democrats need desperately to concoct something with which to entangle and stymie Trump for the next two years. Death by a thousand committees.

I think they should simply go on to impeach him (or “Impeach the mother f**ker” as that delightful Rashida Tlaib, the representative from Hamas, would say). The country would enjoy that as much as did the impeachment of Bill Clinton. I want to see democrats screaming “I think” and “I feel” as the basis for their actions. democrat actions will become quite popular as their obsession comes second to the business of government responsibility.

It would make great theater.

Kevin McCarthy said that democrats were ready to impeach Trump the day he was elected.

“I think Congressman Nadler decided to impeach the president the day the president won the election,” McCarthy said, referring to Rep. Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., the House Judiciary Committee chairman, alleging that Trump obstructed justice.

“In this process to be impeached, show me where the president did anything to be impeached,” McCarthy added. “The other thing you have to find is, listen to what Nadler said. Nadler is setting the framework now that the Democrats are not to believe the Mueller report. They’re now saying we have to do our own investigation.”

He’s right but there’s more to it. They are going to find Trump guilty

Of something. Anything. Facts are irrelevant.

Speaking of clowns…
