The Week in Radical Leftism, 11/23/2018

Welcome back, everybody! I hope that you all had a great Thanksgiving and that none of you got trampled in a Friday door buster sale. Since this has been a busy week with other commitments, this will be a relatively light post. Onward!

11/16 – Because a woman being forced to touch a man’s penis is tolerance

Note one demographic feature of the woman, and pass the popcorn!

11/16 – Eric Swalwell is the stupidest member of Congress

You’re probably thinking the same thing that I did, and the author immediately addressed the first two names that come to mind. And if anything, Swalwell makes the case for private citizens being allowed to own tactical nukes!

11/17 – Fact-checking the NY Times’ Fact-checking

Maybe if the NYT tried employing some journalists they wouldn’t have these accuracy issues?

11/18 – Right to Work Wins Out in Kentucky

Wow! Judges deciding to interpret the law rather than legislate it? What a concept!

11/19 – FIRST IT WAS CONFEDERATE GENERALS, NOW IT’S BLACK CONSERVATIVES

As always, the best racism comes from the Democrats!

Black leftist activists are given power by white leftists in order to keep other African-Americans in line

Erasing Thomas and Carson also erases the identities of countless African-American conservatives, the history of African-American conservatism, and the values of African-American conservatism.

It tells the students at Benjamin Carson High School of Science and Medicine that they shouldn’t learn from his journey or adopt his values. They shouldn’t aspire to be successful surgeons, but aggrieved victims whose only purpose is to serve as foot soldiers in the culture wars of their leftist masters.

The Left is not really at war with the unalterable past. It is at war with the future.

11/20 – The Left’s Accusation That The Right Is Fascist Is Simply Psychological Projection

Not to seem glib, but is there anything that the Radical Left accuses Normals of that they’re not guilty of themselves? I’m genuinely interested in hearing examples.

11/21 – Women’s March Leadership Shows Schism Over Anti-Semitism

As I am so fond of saying, the problem with building coalitions based on identity politics is that eventually your allies run out of other people to hate.

11/22 – Conservative Activist Laura Loomer Banned From Twitter After Criticizing Congresswoman-Elect Ilhan Omar

Like a lot of young Conservatives, Laura has some growing up to do. I’ve seen her speak and she’s pretty sharp, but her stunt trying to filibuster a congressional hearing didn’t do her any favors. She has a ways to go, but is worth following. If you can.

11/23 – WORDS VS. VIOLENT ACTS

A bit long, but it’s worth staying with to the end.

No archives this week – I hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving!
