@James D: Once again, if you want to know what kind of corruption the Democrats are up to, listen to what they accuse Republicans of.

Don’t even try it, Cakeboy.
I live in Georgia, and know better.
Kemp has very little to do with the election process. It’s all done at the county level.
Never pick a fight with someone who knows more than you do.
But you will, anyway, won’t you?

@Petercat:

Never pick a fight with someone who knows more than you do.

Then who would he fight with?

A problem–As recently as 1975 78% of Congress were Veterans–this dwindled to only 20% by 2016
The military teaches brotherhood and acceptance regardless of race or religion. It teaches teamwork ,something severely lacking in today’s political firestorm.
The Dems elected at least 7 new Vets to the House—Repubs should look to do the same

Happy Veterans Day Weekend!!

To Curt and my fellow Marines HAPPY BIRTHDAY 11/10/2018

But The Marines don’t have that problem.” Ronald Reagan

@kitt:
The election result was the best possible: a split congress. Now, before any more mischief gets signed into law, SOME from both political parties will have to agree, and given the current level of hostility (not between us and communists, but between Democrats and Republicans) that’s a very tall order to fill. We’ll have two more years to sharpen our tongues in preparation for the next electoral war, and in the mean time, we will have learned nothing. We have an entitlement society that relishes living in a culture of blame, and nobody has the courage to stop it. No wonder schools and churches, nightclubs, concerts and malls are filling up with “active shooters.” We’re all going mad. Left without a common foe, we’re turning on each other like a pack of starving rats. At least that one nasty actor – the congress – is neutralized. For now.
