Let that title soak in for a moment. You might think this is something that happened 150 years ago but you’d be mistaken. This has happening within the last few years. The democrat Attorney general of the state of New York is alleged to have claimed to own a slave- a “brown slave.” Not only that, it is alleged that he beat her as well.
Of the four women accusing Attorney General Eric Schneiderman (D-NY) of sexual misconduct and physical abuse, two went on the record. One of those is Tanya Selvaratnam, who was born in Sri Lanka. The New Yorker describes her as having “dark skin” and, among other things, she alleges Schneiderman called her his “brown slave” and demanded she say out loud that she was “his property.”
“Sometimes, he’d tell me to call him Master, and he’d slap me until I did,” Selvaratnam claimed. “He started calling me his ‘brown slave’ and demanding that I repeat that I was ‘his property.’”Schneiderman is a 63-year-old left-wing Democrat who resigned in disgrace Monday night.
Selvaratnam is a “progressive feminist”…
According to the New Yorker, Selvaratnam is an author and “progressive Democratic feminist” who was in a relationship with Schneiderman “from the summer of 2016 until the fall of 2017.”
who took quite a while to leave the slave owner:
“The slaps started after we’d gotten to know each other,” she told the New Yorker. “It was at first as if he were testing me. Then it got stronger and harder. It wasn’t consensual. This wasn’t sexual playacting. This was abusive, demeaning, threatening behavior.”
She further alleges that Schneiderman would “hit me until I agreed” to engage in a threesome with another woman. Something she never did.
“The abuse escalated,” the New Yorker reports. “Schneiderman not only slapped her across the face, often four or five times, back and forth, with his open hand; he also spat at her and choked her.”
“He was cutting off my ability to breathe,” she claims. Things escalated to a point where “we could rarely have sex without him beating me.”
Schneiderman was big in the #metoo movement. A regular champion for women’s rights and safety.
He was also the guy who was expected to take Trump down.
One can only imagine the furor that would have erupted had the title been “GOP Attorney General Schneiderman owned (and beat) a brown slave!” Not only was the response muted, the left wing media neglected to mention Schneiderman’s party affiliation:

It’s amazing what power does to people. And Schneiderman has had unfettered leftist-supported power for over eight years. Trump had him pegged five years ago when he tweeted that he was “worse than Spitzer or Weiner”.
@Angel Artiste: Are these the men who are supporting women’s rights? More and more, it appears that these people are the face of the Democratic party. Not only that, these men have been supported for decades by people who knew what they are. Yet, tonight, Trump and Stormy will lead the news on the “fake news networks”.
One thing the Democrats have taught us is that an “allegation” is the same as a conviction. Right?

I would encourage leftists to notice that this is the difference between someone making the remark that a rich and powerful man could, if he wanted to, do this and a rich and powerful man ACTUALLY DOING IT. It’s actually quite a difference.
