obama did wiretap Trump

It’s not called “blind hatred” for nothing. A while back I wrote that democrats were opening Pandora’s box.  It is now open and they’re really, really not going to like what’s coming.

Last week, we learned that Susan Rice lied through her teeth:

On the same day, former National Security Adviser Susan Rice was interviewed by PBS’s Judy Woodruff and asked to respond to Nunes’ accusation that she had unmasked those Trump officials in the waning days of the Obama administration. Here is the exchange:

Woodruff: We’ve been following a disclosure by the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Devin Nunes, that in essence, during the final days of the Obama administration, during the transition, after President Trump had been elected, that he and the people around him may have been caught up in surveillance of foreign individuals in that their identities may have been disclosed. Do you know anything about this?

Rice: I know nothing about this. I was surprised to see reports from Chairman Nunes on that count today.

As we now know, Rice wasn’t surprised. At all.

Remember when James Comey denied that Trump was being wiretapped?

The FBI is investigating whether the Trump campaign colluded with a covert Russian operation to interfere with the election, FBI Director James Comey told Congress Monday — and he refuted the president’s baseless claim that his predecessor wiretapped his communications.

Comey’s confirmation in testimony before the House Intelligence Committee that the Trump campaign was the subject of a U.S. counterintelligence investigationwas a revelation that could shadow the Trump presidency.

The FBI director also dealt the president’s credibility a blow when he said he “has no information that supports” Trump’s allegation from two weeks ago that President Obama ordered surveillance of his communications in Trump Tower during the campaign.

Only courts grant permission for electronic surveillance, Comey told lawmakers, and “no individual in the United States can direct electronic surveillance of anyone.”

Comey’s reputation is in tatters now.

Remember when James Clapper denied that Trump was being wiretapped?

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper denied on Monday that there were any wiretaps on Trump Tower during the 2016 campaign, and also revealed that the president-elect had asked him to publicly disavow a private investigator’s un-corroborated dossier on Trump circulating among journalists.

Clapper was responding today to a weekend tweet tirade by the President, who made unsubstantiated claims that former President Barack Obama had ordered a wiretap of Trump Tower during the election campaign.

“There was no wiretap against Trump Tower during the campaign conducted by any part of the National Intelligence Community,” Clapper, America’s top spy until January 20, told ABC News’ Brian Ross in an interview in Washington, D.C., “none at all…including the FBI”.

It’s important to pay close attention to what Clapper said:

CHUCK TODD:

Let me start with the President’s tweets yesterday, this idea that maybe President Obama ordered an illegal wiretap of his offices. If something like that happened, would this be something you would be aware of?

JAMES CLAPPER:

I would certainly hope so. I can’t say– obviously, I’m not, I can’t speak officially anymore. But I will say that, for the part of the national security apparatus that I oversaw as DNI, there was no such wiretap activity mounted against– the president elect at the time, or as a candidate, or against his campaign. I can’t speak for other Title Three authorized entities in the government or a state or local entity.

CHUCK TODD:

Yeah, I was just going to say, if the F.B.I., for instance, had a FISA court order of some sort for a surveillance, would that be information you would know or not know?

JAMES CLAPPER:

Yes.

CHUCK TODD:

You would be told this?

JAMES CLAPPER:

I would know that.

CHUCK TODD:

If there was a FISA court order–

JAMES CLAPPER:

Yes.

CHUCK TODD:

–on something like this.

JAMES CLAPPER:

Something like this, absolutely.

CHUCK TODD:

And at this point, you can’t confirm or deny whether that exists?

JAMES CLAPPER:

I can deny it.

CHUCK TODD:

There is no FISA court order?

JAMES CLAPPER:

Not– not to know my knowledge.

Curious. He could deny something like this exists, but there was no FISA order “to my knowledge.”

It must be kept in mind that Clapper is a documented liar.

His knowledge and his words, and Comey’s words are worth nothing. Donald Trump was wiretapped, under the guise of investigating Paul Manafort:

Washington (CNN)US investigators wiretapped former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort under secret court orders before and after the election, sources tell CNN, an extraordinary step involving a high-ranking campaign official now at the center of the Russia meddling probe.

The government snooping continued into early this year, including a period when Manafort was known to talk to President Donald Trump.
Some of the intelligence collected includes communications that sparked concerns among investigators that Manafort had encouraged the Russians to help with the campaign, according to three sources familiar with the investigation. Two of these sources, however, cautioned that the evidence is not conclusive.
It’s useful to note something here:

Last year, Justice Department prosecutors concluded that there wasn’t enough evidence to bring charges against Manafort or anyone of the other US subjects in the probe, according to sources briefed on the investigation.

So now Robert Mueller is in desperate search of a crime in order to try to flip Manafort to say something incriminating about Trump or his family.

The defense of this wiretapping disclosure will be that Trump was not the target. He just happened to be caught up in it so they took advantage of it. For months. T

The FBI then restarted the surveillance after obtaining a new FISA warrant that extended at least into early this year.

That means Comey blatantly lied to Congress. Clapper lied to eveyone. Trump was surveiled and obama had to know.

And somewhere, Devin Nunes is smiling.
