The Trump Presidency has turned out to be surprisingly challenging for blogging. First off, we have the media’s raw hatred for President Trump leading them to Dan Rather too many stories (howl first, verify later) – anyone remember the National Guard being mobilized to round up illegals, plans to invade Mexico, the MLK bust being removed from the White House, or just this week, the New England Patriots’ visit to the White House?
So when there’s a story that looks too good or too stupid to believe, I generally wait 48 hours for the truth to come out. Unfortunately, the Radical Left is in such a frenzy to clown themselves that by the time I can write about a topic 2-3 days after the story breaks it’s five or six crises ago and already stale news. So if I’m going to continue blogging I have to stop pretending to stay current (as I tearfully discard a few drafts that I worked on and couldn’t publish), it’s time to get rolling again with an easy topic that never gets old – the idiocy that comes from Camp Clinton! NBC News’ Kendall Kreitman reports, with my accompanying analysis of Hillary’s remarks:
Clinton’s comments came during her first post-election interview at Tina Brown’s eighth annual Women in the World Summit in New York City. She was questioned by Nicholas Kristof of The New York Times.
She largely cited these factors for her defeat:
– Russia. “A foreign power meddled with our election,” she said, labeling it “an act of aggression.” She called for an independent, bipartisan investigation into the Kremlin’s involvement and said the probe should examine whether there was collusion with the Trump campaign.
It’s almost too easy to point out the fact that we’ve not seen any substantial piece of evidence or any official being willing to go on record – the most substance we’ve gotten is that Susan Rice lied to us about who gave the orders for illegal surveillance against a presidential candidate. The better point to focus is on – “Act of aggression”? After eight years of the administration whose Russia policy was summed up by Reset Buttons, “The 80s called…”, and “Greater flexibility”, is this not an acknowledgement that the previous administration’s Russia policy was a spectacular failure? And how much of this blame falls on the shoulders of the Secretary of State from President Obama’s first term?
– Misogyny. “Certainly, misogyny played a role. That has to be admitted,” she said. Clinton added that “some people — women included — had real problems” with the idea of a woman president.
Too many angles to hit here as Hillary condemns the same people who voted for a ticket that included Sarah Palin as VP eight years ago – maybe Americans who respect women weren’t ready for the enabler of the world’s most famous sexual predator as president?
– Comey. Clinton cited as damaging to her campaign his unusual decision to release of a letter on October 28, less than two weeks before Election Day, that said he was looking at additional emails related to the FBI probe of the former secretary of state’s use of a private server.
This might have had to do with the revelation that Clinton’s high level Iranian advisor is married to a sex offender who kept sensitive information (that he shouldn’t have had access to in the first place) on the same machine he used to transmit pictures of his man parts?
– WikiLeaks. Weeks of disclosures of stolen emails from the personal account of then-Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta, were particularly harmful, Clinton said, adding that it “played a much bigger role than I think many people yet understand.”
She said the combination of Comey’s actions and the WikiLeaks’ revelations “had the determinative effect.”
Yes , those e-mails were stolen from people who are too incompetent to safeguard our nation’s secrets, the same way that leaving a jelly donut in your unlocked foot locker won’t end well. And never mentioned are the disgusting behaviors that were revealed – such as rigging the primaries, because why would’t Hillary deserve to be president when she couldn’t even beat a decaying Socialist in a fair fight? But, to Clinton’s almost credit:
About her own role, she said, “There were things I could have done better.”
Wow, think so? It doesn’t take an ounce of introspection to acknowledge after a loss that one could have done better. And of course, just this week we’ve been getting teasers of how poorly run Hillary’s campaign actually was.
If I were a Leftist, and if I’d be angry about something right now, it wouldn’t be the man in the White House, rather at Hillary for running such a horrible campaign that apparently could have most likely been won with an ounce of effort and common sense. And I’d have plenty of rage toward the “journalists” covering her campaign who apparently never picked up so much as a whiff that things weren’t as perfect as we were being lied to? Some of you may be asking yourselves, “What does this have to do with the title of your post?” I’m glad you asked! Because in Hillary’s complaining, and the complaining of Chelsea, who seems to be determined to become as unlikable as her mother, we learned that Hillary embodies the fundamental principle that governs all Leftist policy:
Never, under any circumstances, accept responsibility for the consequences of one’s actions, and avoid at all costs the two words that must never, ever be uttered aloud, “I’m responsible.”
I can’t think of anyone in recent memory who has personally failed at such an epic level and is completely oblivious to the fact. Of course, it’s all somebody else’s fault. In that regard, Hillary is the perfect person to lead today’s Democratic party.
