An awful lot is being made of two brief contacts Jeff Sessions had with Sergei Kislyak, the Russian ambassador to the US. There are all sorts of calls for special prosecutors- you know, the kind never seen over the last eight years despite Fast and Furious, the IRS targeting scandal and years of lying about healthcare. The manic pursuit by the left is taking on a McCarthyesque appearance.
But what if it is the obama regime and the democrats who are colluding with the Russians to take down Donald Trump? Let’s have a look at events.

Trump’s wiretapping claim is not hard to believe. In 2007 barack obama swore he would put an end to spying on American citizens, yet obama has continued to do so, even spying on political opponents. The obama administration sought a wiretap on Donald Trump and his advisers specifically in June of last year- just prior to the Republican Convention and after Trump had the nomination locked up.
obama has a history of illegally wiretapping and persecuting reporters. obama refused to appoint a special prosecutor even after the IRS admitted targeting conservatives. He did meet with the IRS commissioner 157 times, though.
For eight years obama has shown an inclination to bow to the Russians.
In 2012 obama scolded Mitt Romney about the Russians being a threat.
It was obama who set up Sessions. obama’s Department of State sponsored the event at which Russian Ambassador Kislyak met with Sessions.
On Tuesday, July 19, Global Cleveland welcomed roughly 80 international ambassadors to its Global Partners in Diplomacy reception at Severance Hall. The event, coordinated in partnership with the 2016 Republican National Convention and the U.S. Department of State, introduced the ambassadors to nearly 200 of Northeast Ohio’s civic and corporate leaders.
Sessions met for a second time with Kislyak in September, as a member of the Armed Services Committee, right about the same time Kislyak was in the obama White House. Kislyak also was the White House in July of 2016, again in the same month he came into contact with Sessions. In all, Kislyak was in the White House at least 22 times.

Why do democrats so badly want Sessions’ scalp? It’s all about who would next be in charge at Justice.
Seven days before he left office, President Obama changed the order of succession without explanation to remove (Dana) Boente from the list. Obama’s order had listed U.S. attorneys in the District of Columbia, the Northern District of Illinois and the Central District of California.

The man Obama placed at the head of the line of succession is D.C.’s U.S. Attorney Channing Phillips, who is quite cozy with President Obama and his attorney general, Eric Holder. He is a former senior adviser to Holder, and he stayed on to work under Obama’s next AG Loretta Lynch before Obama appointed Phillips D.C.’s U.S. attorney in 2015. But Phillips goes way back with Holder—Holder first hired Philips in the D.C. U.S. Attorney’s Office in 1994. It’s also safe to say that the AG offices in the Northern District of Illinois and the Central District of California are not hotbeds of Trump supporters.
It was a plot to get to Trump, but Trump foiled it when he restored the original line of succession. Without a doubt, there is a grand scheme being conducted by obama and his shadow government against the current administration.

Today on Meet the Press former DNI James Clapper said there was no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia:
Clapper was also asked on “Meet the Press” if he had any evidence that the Trump campaign was colluding with the Russian government while the Kremlin was working to influence the election.
“Not to my knowledge,” Clapper said, based on the information he had before his time in the position ended.
“We did not include anything in our report … that had any reflect of collusion between members of the Trump campaign and the Russians. There was no evidence of that included in our report,” he said. “We had no evidence of such collusion.”
So there it is. There is no evidence of collusion. All democrats have is evidence of contact. If evidence of contact is evidence of collusion then democrats are in deep trouble. They are neck deep in contacts with Kislyak- who some have suggested might be a spy. On that basis, Kislyak could easily be working with democrats in trying to overthrow the Trump administration.
Clearly, a special prosecutor is needed to investigate the possible collusion between the Russians and the democrats.
