Long ago Saturday Night Live, back when it could actually be funny without political references, ran a particularly amusing skit. Here it is:
Today we have another thing that won’t leave- barack obama. As we previously noted, it is customary for past Presidents to leave town and stay out of the limelight and allow your successor to work unhindered.
Not if your name is barack obama, apparently. The guy just can’t take a hint. He seemed to be headed toward a quiet retirement until hillary flamed out. With his legacy headed for the fireplace he’s not going anywhere:
Offering the clearest indication yet of his plan to be active on the political scene after he is ostensibly back in private life, Obama said Saturday, “As I prepare to take on the even more important role of citizen, know that I will be there with you every step of the way to ensure that this country forever strives to live up to the incredible promise of our founding — that all of us are created equal, and all of us deserve every chance to live out our dreams.”
He will do that by living in an 8,000 square foot home in the most expensive neighborhood in DC and will likely build a mansion in Hawaii. Thing is, we do all have a chance to live out our dreams. What obama is talking about is not equal opportunity- the country already offers that- he is talking about equal outcome. In other words, socialism.
But we’ll leave that aside for the moment. obama is not content with leaving office having destroyed the democrat party. He wants to destroy the Trump Presidency as well. He wants to suffocate the baby in the crib. To wit, this piece from The Hill:

Eliminating the national immigration registry
The great Guantanamo jailbreak
And then there’s this beauty:
Depicting Trump’s election as a disaster: Let’s not forget Obama’s acts of rhetorical sabotage, such as describing Trump’s presidential campaign as a crime against American class and racial harmony, or his wife wailing that all hope was lost for America’s children. Trump himself has taken note of the “many inflammatory President Obama statements and roadblocks.”
Had George Bush done the same, he would have been condemned as both selfish and as a racist.
When he was elected, obama humbly declared his election “was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on Earth.”
Now Moses promises to part the skies as soon as he appears:
“I promise you that next year Michelle and I are going to be right there with you, and the clouds are going to start parting and the sun is going to come back out, and we’re going to be busy, involved in the amazing stuff that we’ve been doing all these years before.”
No one should believe that obama has the country’s best interests in mind. It’s all about one thing- obama. It has never been about anything other than obama. He is obsessed with the preservation of the monuments he has build to himself. obama had his chance to turn the country into a progressive (read “socialist”) utopia but the country has had enough and said no, outside the idiocracy known as California. But obama, haunted by his repudiation at the hands of the American people, is the thing that wouldn’t leave.
Fortunately for Trump, he has both a GOP controlled House and Senate.
And of course, a pen and a phone.

Obamas next place of residence should have bars on the window and doors a big excersie yard and his wardrobe should be a black and white suit with horizilntal stiripes a number of 7 to eight digits and ball and chain
Obama has yet to realize that the clouds parted and the sun shone through when Hillary was defeated and the promise of 2 or more new, leftist, activist judges on the Supreme Court died once and for all. Hope was renewed when a perjury-committing incompetent was denied access to all the powers of the federal government, sure to have been abused even more extensively than Obama abused them.
The left, of course, vow to fight Trump and his appointments every step of the way but they laid the foundation of their upcoming defeat on their own arrogance when they enacted the “nuclear option” to circumvent the minority voice.
The cry-baby left wing wieners can circle their wagons around Obama and his conceit, hanging on his every word and dreaming of the restoration of the Failure Empire. Meanwhile, Trump and his team will go about the business of repairing the Obama damage and, hopefully, will succeed.
As classlessly arrogant and devoid of any connection to reality as Obama has been for the last 8 years, it should surprise no one that the marxist, pro-muslim, Keynesian liar intends on remaining in the political limelight in a graceless effort to salvage his “legacy”.
Watch the hypocritical left start shrieking demands for Trump to bow down to Congress and call any use of executive orders “unconstitutional”, “irresponsible”, “tyrannical”, and every other negative characterization they think they can get away with. Watch for the interpretation of economic reports to become horrifically bad after the last 8 years of egregious sugarcoating and deception.
And on January 20th we an all song HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN and Obama can leave anytime he wants and the sooner the better
