Well THAT Was a Slow News Week. (Guest Post)

Prior to the string of massive rulings by the Supreme Court that started on Thursday, the news cycle was mostly dominated by some controversy regarding a symbol from a war that was fought 150 years ago. It’s a good thing it was such a slow news week, but in case you missed these trivial, non-newsworthy items..,

The UN has decided that the use of civilians as human shields is now an acceptable tactic in warfare.

That OPM hack that has compromised so many government personnel and contractors who serve our country – it’s even worse than you thought.

But the good news is – the people who were responsible for safeguarding the information? Their failure is not their fault!

The lies that were used to shove Obamacare up into us? Now there is no question about it – and the left thinks it’s hilarious!

Meanwhile, another week, another Clinton scandal.

We had a “trade deal” that was so great it had to be kept secret, and was finally forced on us, thanks to Obama’s congressional allies, the Republicans?

And John Boehner focused on his true enemies on Capitol Hill – Republicans who voted to protect the American people.

Apparently the only people who still think that the president’s plan to help Iran obtain nuclear weapons is a good idea seem to be Obama and Kerry.

Greece continues to show what results from leftist governance.

The IRS, which committed not even a smidgen of wrongdoing, put impressive effort to destroy any evidence of the wrongdoing that they did not commit.

One of the president’s closets advisors has some pretty close ties to the Communist party.

And we are learning that to of the commandments of enviro-cultism, recycling and driving hybrids, aren’t as wonderful as we were led to believe.

Thankfully the press had it’s priorities straight and ignored these trivialities to focus on something as critical and pressing as a flag. And I’ll leave you with one more missed story since the left has been congratulating itself on its stances against bigotry:

Bobby Jindal has been the target of some ugly, racist remarks. I’ll let you take a guess as to which side of the aisle was the source.
