A loathsome ad produced by democrats suggests that the GOP is to blame for the Ebola outbreak. Erick Erickson has some amusing thoughts on the subject:
It’s a defensive ad that reeks of desperation. At a time when more and more Americans, including millennials, are concluding government just doesn’t work, it probably won’t be effective. And Republicans can respond in kind.
For example, instead of studying Ebola, the National Institutes of Health were studying the propensity of lesbians to be fat.
Then there was the money for a study on wives who calm down quickly.
And the Centers for Disease Control spent its budget on gun violence studies on order of the President as part of his agenda to curtail the second amendment.
The CDC also spent its money to survey what bus riders thought of HIV videos.
Hey, and let’s not forget all the money the CDC spent to convince people to stop smoking and now we need tobacco to manufacture the drug to fight Ebola. Classic.
That only scratches the surface. These are items which democrats found more important than Ebola:
$2.6 Million to Train Chinese Prostitutes to Drink Responsibly on the Job
$2.6 billion to bankrupted green energy schemes.
$11 billion in wrongful IRS tax refunds.
As for the NIH, here’s what they find of pressing concern:
$181,406 to Study How Cocaine Enhances Sex Drive of Japanese Quail
$442,340 to study the behavior of male prostitutes in Vietnam.
$400,000 to find out why gay men in Argentina engage in risky sexual behavior when they are drunk.
$442,340 to study the behavior of male prostitutes in Vietnam.
$800,000 in “stimulus funds” to study the impact of a “genital-washing program” on men in South Africa.
And of course,
$44 million on Obama vacations
And one more thing: there were no cuts in either the CDC or NIH budgets
