MSNBC- home of the Learjet Liberal. Really.

I know, I know. “Liberal hypocrite gasbag” is redundant, but still….

Ed Schultz is an even worse reprobate than you thought. Schultz is one of the liberal gasbags on PMSNBC who reside in the town of Hypocrisy Heights. Schultz is quick to pile onto the mythical conservative “war on women” despite his own reported history of having a restraining order taken out against him for the threat of violence.

You know how he is always pumping unions and demonizing the Tea Party?

Not surprisingly, MSNBC’s Ed Schultz was practically orgasmic with joy Tuesday over Teamsters president James Hoffa’s Labor Day declaration of war against the Tea Party.

After telling his “Ed Show” audience that Obama’s poll numbers have been declining because he hasn’t spoken to the American people like the union boss, Schultz actually asked Hoffa, “Do you think the Republicans are sons of b—hes?”

Turns out he’s a paid spokesman, to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

A department of Labor search shows that not only is liberal MSNBC host Ed Schultz paid for his TV show and radio show, but he is getting a hefty amount of money from labor unions. Schultz received at least $177,000 from labor unions in 2012; the average median income for an American family is around $44,000 a year.
This year alone the DOL shows Schultz has been paid $75,000 by the AFL-CIO; just yesterday AFL-CIO Richard Trumka appeared on The Ed Show. As we ring in the new year in just a couple of weeks we will keep track of how much union pay for play Schultz gets in 2014.

What makes this almost amusing is Schultz’s refusal to support unionization of NBC employees. When asked about it he becomes incoherent:

“And so that’s where I’m going to leave all the nastiness that is out there,” Schultz went on, “and I’m not going to lower myself to people who just have got employment envy, income envy, exposure envy, platform envy.” He warned that “there are going to be minions out there that are going to twist and turn and spin and have expectations without going to the source.” Schultz then turned to the phones (“very seldom do I take calls in the very first segment,” he noted, “but I’m willing to do that today”). After indicating no calls immediately arrived, Schultz said sarcastically, “You mean they don’t want to take on Big Eddie here? I mean, I just find that hard to believe.”

You know how he berates anyone who owns a private jet? Guess what?

MSNBC host Ed Schultz, who has repeatedly criticized opponents for owning private jets, owns multiple private jets and conceals his flight data from the public.

Schultz owns Ed Schultz Broadcasting, LLC and has owned at least three Cessnas and one Piper. Schultz has owned two Cessna 560s, which typically sell for more than $5 million per plane. (He sold one plane—tail number N421LT — to Lakin Tire West Incorporated in 2011). Schultz also owns one Cessna 208B which is worth over $1.5 million. He also owns a Piper Cheyenne turboprop, estimated at more than $2 million.

Those hefty price tags don’t include the salaries of the two pilots, the fuel, or the maintenance costs. It costs more than $1,295 per hour to operate a Cessna 560, making it one of the more expensive private jets. […]

In any event, at the same time that Schultz has flown around on his private plane, both Schulz and his guests have criticized private plane use over the years.

“If you look at the agenda that the Democrats have got on the table, it is, you know, they’re – all of these issues are polling favorably. This is what the American people want,” Schultz told Larry King in 2007 “They want stem cell research. They want federal funding for it. They want minimum wage. They want border protection. You know, they want ethics reform – no more corporate jets, no more golf trips.”

This is but one of the loathsome creatures MSNBC employs. It has descended completely into madness and irrelevance.
