Gender and race: the shields of the Obama adminstration [Reader Post]

At his most recent press conference Christi Parsons, a “reporter”-cum-Obama zealot had this exchange with Barack Obama:

It’s enough to make you ill. The White House press corps are

not reporters any longer. They are not simply groupies. They’re way past that. They are Obama’s guardians. They worship him. How did it come to this?

Dinesh D’Souza spelled it out. It was the number three reason to see 2016: The Movie.

The source of Obama’s lifelong “luck” and power is that guilty white people have gone out of their way to help him and give him whatever he wanted because they feel doing so proves they aren’t racists…and this has enabled him to become the most powerful man in the country despite the fact he seeks America’s ruination.

You can argue about the ruination part, but about the manipulation of race there is no doubt. The lapdog press sees Barack Obama not as a President, but as a national treasure- the first black President- and in need of protection and nurture free of the entanglement of scrutiny. Only Ed Henry of Fox News dares to even ask a serious question of Obama, and Obama bristles at them. The White House press corps have become the Court Jesters to the King, and Obama plays them like fiddles. Obama does use his race as a shield and virtually every criticism of him raises the accusation of racism.

It’s not just Obama who benefits from this vapidity. Obama employs the twin Valkyries of race and gender to smack down any efforts to thwart his agenda. Look at how this has played out:

Kathleen Sibelius, HHS Secretary, white female: Violates the Hatch Act, lies through her teeth. No serious challenge to her at all.

Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State, white female: Knows nothing. Doesn’t know about the threat to Ambassador Stevens, the cables revealing the vulnerability of the Benghazi consulate, the under-protection, or that it wasn’t the video. No serious challenge.

Eric Holder, Attorney General, black male: Repeated lying. Refuses to furnish requested documents, held in contempt. Nothing comes of it.

Lisa Jackson, EPA head, black female: Is using a fake email account to escape oversight. Press could not give a rip.

Susan Rice, UN Ambassador, black female: It was the video. Repeatedly spews a false narrative about the Benghazi attack. Barack Obama leaps to her defense with an outburst of righteous indignation.

“If Senator McCain and Senator Graham and others want to go after someone they should go after me,” Obama said at a White House news conference on Wednesday. “When they go after the U.N. ambassador apparently because they think she’s an easy target, then they’ve got a problem with me.”

Of course, three days later “come after me” became “go after State or Defense and not me.”

And the press was dunned into compliance once again. These people are not in these positions by accident or coincidence. Obama knows that race and gender will be their protection from proper scrutiny.

Seemingly on cue, Richard Wolffe, the man who would fight Chris Matthews for the right to tingle while kneeling before Obama, pinned the hyperbole meter while cackling about racism:

Former top Newsweek journalist and current MSNBC.com editor Richard Wolffe on Monday smeared Senator John McCain as a racist. According to Wolffe, there’s no legitimate reason for the Republican to oppose Susan Rice’s confirmation for Secretary of State.

Appearing on MSNBC’s “Hardball,” the journalist sneered that it was “outrageous” the way McCain was acting, raging against “this witch hunt going on the right about these people of color, let’s face it, around this president. Eric Holder, Valerie Jarrett, now Susan Rice.”

One might be tempted to think he got a prompt from someone up high. This country is not going in the right direction but the press is undeterred from its objective of insulating Barack Obama from reality.

Watch the next press conference. Watch knob-gobbling White House press corps in action. D’Souza is absolutely correct.

Right now Barack Obama could eat a child at a press conference and the press corps would ask how good it tasted.
