JayZ gets the Presidential Seal of Approval
Obama is considering hiring JayZ to energize his campaign. That's fine, but maybe American women should be aware of the type of lyrics JayZ uses in his songs, that Obama considers so influential.

Liberals have made a lot of traction by accusing Republicans of declaring a war on women. I don't see the war on women; at least, I don't see the Republican or Conservative war on women, but I think promoting lyrics like these perpetuate the worst images for women and denigrate them into a submission as bad as any country in the Middle East. After listening to these lyrics and by Obama edifying JayZ's position in the cultural world of young people, these negative images are reenforced. Is it no wonder women place so little value on themselves?
A professional horseman for over 50 years, Skook continues to work with horses. Skook has finished an historical novel, Fifty Thousand Years, that traces a mitochondrial line of DNA from 50,000 years ago to the present. The story follows a line of courageous women, from the Ice Ages to the present, as they meet the challenges of survival with grit and creativity. These are not women who whimper of being victims, they meet the challenges of survival as women who use their abilities without excuses or remorse, these women are winners, they are our ancestors.
Fifty Thousand Years is available in paperback and e-book, it is getting great reviews. You can purchase a copy here; Visit me on Facebook.
