2012 Poll Watch – National GOP Polls

Spread the love

Loading

First one up is the one that’s garnering all the headlines. After 2 1/2 years in office Obama is FIVE points down against ANY Republican:

Note that it’s registered voters…which is worse news for Obama. Likely voters always tend to add a few points to the right in polls, not so with just registered voters.

Interesting thought from CAC at Ace of Spades HQ:

With current conditions remaining stagnant, Obama currently faces a popular vote ceiling of 51.4%, and an electoral vote ceiling of 303, just 33 higher than the magical make-or-break number for re-election. Florida, North Carolina, Indiana and Nebraska’s errant district are gone.

The closer to election day we move with conditions growing worse, the farther both ceilings will fall, and the more swing states drift from “possible” to “a bridge too far”. If the electoral vote crosses under 270 for his internals before January 2012, he pulls a Lyndon Johnson and bows out of his re-election.

Another poll making the rounds in the media today is the NBC/WSJ poll. In their general poll of 1,000 likely voters they have Obama at a 49% approval rating and the following numbers for the Republican primary: (290 likely voters polled)

  • Romney – 30%
  • Palin – 14%
  • Cain – 12%
  • Perry – 8%
  • Paul – 7%
  • Gingrich – 6%
  • Pawlenty – 4%
  • Santorum – 4%
  • Bachmann – 3%
  • Huntsman – 1%
  • Other/Not sure – 11%

But all is not kosher.

We’ll start with the splits:

Strong Democrat …………….. 19
Not very strong Democrat ….. 13
Independent/lean Democrat …10
Strictly Independent ………….14
Independent/lean Republican ..10
Not very strong Republican ….11
Strong Republican …………….13
Other (VOL) …………………… 8
Not sure ……………………….. 2

So this means that the skew of the poll to begin with is 42% dem vs 34% GOP. Gee do ya think an 8 point difference in party affiliation might havesomething to do with the numbers? I’d say polling nearly 25% more democrats than republicans might help the democrats bottom line figures a tad.

Now lets see how those people voted last time

Yes, Voted
Voted for Barack Obama ….. 42
Voted for John McCain ……. 32
Voted for someone else ……. 5
Not sure ……………………… 3
No, Did Not Vote …………… 18
Not sure ………………………. –

The spread of Obama voters vs McCain voters in this sample is 3 points greater than his actual 2008 election spread but lets look deeper:

Nearly 1 in 5 of the people who answer claimed they did not vote last time in an election that drew huge turn out, so lets extrapolate those figures without the 18% that claim they didn’t vote. What kind of spread does that leave us compared to the actual 2008 results (52.9 Obama vs 45.7 McCain)?

Voted for Barack Obama ….. 52
Voted for John McCain ……. 40
Voted for someone else ……. 6%

In the last election President Obama got 52.9% of the vote so the poll reflects that figure within 1% but John McCain got 45.7% of the vote. This means this poll under-represents McCain voters by over 11%

…Finally lets tackle that 49% approval number.

There are two items that needs to be addressed. The first is the approval trends that I have alluded to before.

In this poll for approval the choices are not “Positive” “Negative” and “Neutral” they are “Very Positive” “Somewhat Positive” and “Somewhat Negative” and “Very Negative””

If you look at the tend numbers for the first 4 months of his term he was over 40% Very Positive (Max 47%), for the following three months he was over 30% Very positive, since then “Very positive” has been below 30% (27% this month) Meanwhile the “somewhat positive” has remained between 18-23% throughout his presidency while “Neutral” has ranged from 9-15% (14% this month) This means that the trend since inauguration has been a full 20% of support slipping into disapproval.

I would also add that the poll gives a margin of error +/- 3%. But that is only for the sample size of 1,000 people. Only 290 people were used for the GOP numbers so I’m going to go out on a limb here and say the margin of error in those questions are much higher. Not a statistician tho so I could be wrong.

Overall, its a poll to be ignored.

Onto another of the KosKiddies polls from a few days ago: (Public Policy Polling)

  • Obama – 47%
  • Romney – 45%
  • Obama – 52%
  • Palin – 38%
  • Obama – 50%
  • Pawlenty – 39%
  • Obama – 48%
  • Cain – 38%
  • Obama – 52%
  • Gingrich – 39%

520 registered voters in this one, and it was taken before the debates, so no Michelle Bachmann but this Rasmussen one IS post debate and check out her bump:

  • Romney – 33%
  • Bachmann – 19%
  • Cain – 10%
  • Gingrich – 9%
  • Paul – 7% (8)
  • Pawlenty – 6%
  • Santorum – 6%
  • Huntsman – 2%

BUT….it’s 1,000 likely voters so take it for what it is, but still interesting.

And finally the new KosKiddie poll:

  • Mitt Romney 22%
  • Herman Cain 17%
  • Sarah Palin 15%
  • Tim Pawlenty 9%
  • Newt Gingrich 9%
  • Michele Bachmann 8%
  • Ron Paul 7%
  • Jon Huntsman 1%
  • Someone else/Not sure 12%

544 usual Republican primary voters

Cain’s numbers rose, that’s for sure, but just as the earlier PPP poll, it was taken pre-debate….Bachmann’s numbers should rise.

Obama’s very strange actions of late suggest that he is going to give his own psyche an out because he doesn’t think he will win in 2012.

His golfing and Air Force One pampering are taking preference over understanding the economy or what to do about it. Instead of a daily briefing, he now gets a “monthly” briefing on the economy?

His “shovel ready” comment is the kind of who-gives-a-shitism thinking and attitude toward America and Americans that further suggests he’s not going to do the heavy lifting to get America back on track, and he’s not going to do the heavy lifting of another Presidential campaign. He has already made history, fooled the voting public, and now, IMHO, he’s packing his bags, . . . so to speak. I’m amazed that his supporters haven’t figured out that he couldn’t care much less about ANY of them.

I’d like a couple of Republican candidates take a few very well placed, succinct, attacks at his policies, actions and dithering, . . . and he’s done like dinner.

CURT, It look good for us,
thank you

Don’t forget to mention when Obama is ‘up’ in the polls too–although this is against your ideology.

LIBERAL1[OBJECTIVITY] YES IT HAS BEEN DONE EVERY TIMES,
AND NOTED HOW IT FELL DOWN RAPIDLY ALSO AS IT IS NOW,

@Liberal1 (objectivity):
Says the bigoted and leftist partisan coward.

I thought this poll’s results had something very promising in them:

….[T]he NBC/WSJ poll. In their general poll of 1,000 likely voters they have Obama at a 49% approval rating and the following numbers for the Republican primary: (290 likely voters polled)

Romney – 30%
Palin – 14%
Cain – 12%
Perry – 8%
Paul – 7%
Gingrich – 6%
Pawlenty – 4
Santorum – 4%
Bachmann – 3%
Huntsman – 1%
Other/Not sure – 11%

The two candidates I bolded are not even announced as official candidates!
Imagine the bump in their polling number IF and when either or both do announce!
Palin could easily become the Republican’s frontrunner.
Perry could be a real contender, too.

There’s plenty of room for play in the coming months.
(And, yes, a completely Republican poll might have different results.)

Two things I would like to remark on:

1st) A lot of the talking heads, who could be considered center or center right, have been pushing the meme that Romney is the “front runner” in the campaign. Bill O’Reilly has said this more than once, enought to make me angry at him. Let us not forget how the same talking heads told us that McCain was the guy for 2008 although McCain was clearly running a disasterous campaign. The NYSlime sang McCain’s praises until he took the nomination and then they turned on McCain like a snake waiting in the high grass. Do not be fooled by the pundits that are, once again, pushing someone who is not really a conservative but a left leaning moderate.

2nd) being a Texan I have been following the articles on Rick Perry for the last week (plenty to choose from). It is obvious that he poses a threat to the left. On almost every article there are reponses that seem to be cut and pasted from the same talking points memo. Of course, these people claim to be “Texans” who don’t like Rick Perry and think he is an absolute disaster for my state. Oddly though, they all use the same rhetoric.
Now, I understand there are Texans who don’t like Perry (mostly in deep blue Austin/Travis County) and make no mistake, these liberals are radical. Austin seems to be the San Francisco of the Southwest, and the socialist aspect of that city is out in full force to denounce Perry. A friend, who gets emails from OFA (you have to know what is going on in the enemy camp) says she was told to bash Perry at every opportunity. Why would that be? He has not even announced he is running.

The upcoming presidental election is going to be all about jobs and increasing the economy to health status. And the ability to release Americans from the grasp of the current administration to take over our entire liberties as the DoJ and other agencies continue to violate the Constitution and the rights of states to govern themselves as outlined in the Constitution.

I am not going to tell people who to support, but I do think you should look at Romney’s record, which is less than stellar as a governor. Pawlenty is right; Obamacare was designed around Romney care. So for me, a political junkie, Romney is out of the question. He is just another McCain and a last time loser who thinks he is due the nomination simply because this is not his first go-round.

@retire05: The Republican contender will need to gain 97 electoral votes from 2008. The states McCain carried in 2008 gained 10. Perry would most likely sweep the South. Thus the addition of Florida and NC adds another 44. Throwing in Indiana adds 11. That’s 65 right off the bat. Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado, and Virginia also come into play. That’s an additional 33. Obama is not that popular in Pennsylvania or Ohio. Obama is still the man to beat but he is far from unbeatable like the MSM and his supporters are trying to make him out to be.

AnotherVet No question a Perry led ticket would present a formidable challenge to BHO but I believe could fall just short in the E.C.
Romney,as a moderate, would easily hold Mac states and have a better chance in delegate rich Ohio,Penn.,Ind. and Michigan where his father was Gov. The addition of Rubio would insure Fla.N.C. and probably Va. As a Latin he’d help greatly in N.M. Nev. and Col. That ticket probably wins.

Romney vs Perry for R. nom would be long hard fight with I believe Bachmann not Palin being a major player.I’m a political junkie like Retire05 and look forward to the contest.

There is no way I’d vote for Romney. And I’d have to pinch my nose pretty tight to vote for Perry. I don’t live in the “deep blue” part of Texas either, I’m in Dallas, and none of the people I know and consider to be conservative, at least in the TEA ranks think much of Rick.

The governorship in Texas is a very week position Constitutionally, and Texas has weathered every economic downturn better than the rest of the country. To give Perry credit for the Texas economy is like giving a fisherman credit for the tide because he lives near the shore.

The only things that come to mind where he took the lead were forcing vaccines onto jr. high girls, and pushing the trans Texas corridor. In the first case the pharmaceutical company loved it and showed him their “appreciation”, in the second case we can all be thankful the project came to light and was killed, all except the off shore construction companies who were going to build it and the Chinese communists who were going to move goods over it.

When AZ took a stand on the border Perry waffled, “not right for Texas” he said, until the backlash almost knocked him down.

So, aside from being a good speaker and living in Texas, what, exactly, has Perry done to impress so many people?

@JustAl:
You’re in the minority, JustAl.

From Rasmussen:

92% of Tea Party Say They Will Support GOP Nominee, No Matter Who It Is

and….

83% of Republicans said they will support the GOP nominee no matter who is is.

Conservatives, Republicans and the Tea Party are in agreement on this.
Obama has to go.
No one is simply going to vote for Obama because his choice isn’t running.
But also very few will sit home and let Obama win.
Splitting the conservative, Republicans and the Tea Party vote by voting 3rd party is a lose-lose.

I’d vote for a syphilitic camel if it was running against Obie….and, if the camel won, we’d have a better POTUS living at 1600 than what we have now.

Yes, it would be ideal to have someone that I could vote “for” rather than this tiresome business of voting “against” the other guy but, at this point, there is simply no way in hell that I can foresee not voting yea for whoever the GOP nominee is.

Well Nan,
If that’s true the TEA movement is dead. If the GOP can once again get away with the same business as usual, “lessor of two evils” approach, then it was all for nothing and the leftists were right all along.

If we “settle” for a liberal like Romney, or a blow with the wind, fair weather conservative like Perry, then we deserve four more years of Obama.

To paraphrase Lincoln, I prefer to live, “. . . where despotism
can be taken pure, and without the base alloy hypocrisy.”

JustAL, HI, Nan G, is right, I feel that this time, people will gathered in one voice to get the one choice win,
It wont be a matter of trying to pick the PERFECT PERSON, BUT THE MOST SURE PERSON TO WIN,
BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL GOOD ORIENTED TO THE BETTERNESS OF AMERICA, BUT THERE WILL BE THE ONE STANDING OUT WITH POWER IN HIS SPEECH, THAT YOU WILL FIND SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE ISSUES TO BE LOOKED AT, AND THAT PERSON WILL WANT TO TACKLE MANY ISSUES THAT THE MAJORITY HAVE EXPRESS TOO, AND WHAT IS TO BE REMEMBERED IS THAT PERSON IS RUNNING FOR THE PRESIDENCY TO SERVE ALL AMERICANS OF GOOD INTENTIONS, WHAT EVER THEIR DIFFERENCE, THEY MUST UNITE TO MAKE SURE THAT the end result is met, then you can start insisting on your important demands, because this one will be listening to the many problems of the people,
because he will be at the service of the AMERICANS NUMBER ONE PRIORITYS

JustAL, you talk like that because you are down like so many other AMERICANS,
BUT AS THE DAYS GET SHORTER TIME GET CLOSER, ,you will feel the optimist of hope around and it will spread all around the COUNTRY LIKE A BENEFICIAL WIND PASSING BY CLEANING AWAY THE DOWN FEELINGS OF THE PEOPLE WHICH WILL RISE THEIR HEAD UP HIGH TO STAND PROUD AND TALL FOR ONE GOAL THAT IS AMERICA, PEOPLE WILL SHOUT ; I AM AN AMERICAN GOD BLESS AMERICA
LAND OF THE FREE FROM ONE SIDE OF THE OCEANS TO THE OTHER, AND THE SOUTH TO THE NORTH THIS IS THE ONLY JEWEL OF THE WORLD

Then we part company. The attitude of the “lessor evil” is exactly how we got here in the first place. There has been zero indication from Romney or Perry that they would limit government. Sure the GOP want’s to “replace” Obamacare, how thin a veil is that?

Regan wasn’t perfect but he did say that, “Libertarianism is the soul of conservatism.” Year after year Libertarians vote their conscious while Republicans just play the game and vote to “win” whatever the hell that means anymore.

If one of these two is the nominee when real Constitutionalists like Palin and Bachmann are around, I will never again vote for a Republican, I swear by all that anyone holds holy. Our kids are risking their lives at war and we don’t have the courage to vote for what is needed? Someone slightly better than Obama is waaay too little and waaaay too late. It will have no more effect than rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

JustAL, IT wont be so, those who are hoping to win the presidency,
are just beginning to move, they too know the challenge to be met,
the number one now might not be later, this time they will make sure to get in,
they need the support of AMERICANS, A MUST TO MAINTAIN THE POWERPLAY,
FOR RECLAIMING WHAT BELONG TO AMERICA THE PEOPLE’S POWER

ilovebeeswarzone,

Yes, I am down. My son just got to Afghanistan and I have to mail him a knife because they ran out of money before they could give his unit bayonettes, the deployment is completely screwed up with part of the manpower diverted away at the last minute.

The politicians are sending my child into harms way with one arm tied behind him with insane ROE’s and no back up weapon, for people who won’t appreciate it. And the “lessor of two evils” the GOP ran last time was in Libya last month calling the same SOB’s who fight us in Afghanistan “his hero’s” saying we should give s to them (note the irony of this in contrast to my first sentence above). The establishment GOP is no better than the democrats, that is a sad fact, but it is, nevertheless, a fact.

The TEA movement gave me hope, gave me pride, and now only heartache.

Have a good weekend all.

JustAL, YES THAT IS LOW DOWN TO THE CORE,, BUT THINGS WILL GET BETTER IF ALL PUSH FOR IT,
THERE IS TIME IN LIFE UNBEAREBLE TO CONTEMPLATE, AND THIS ONE IS,
WHERE WE MUST SEARCH DEEP IN OUR SOUL FOR A LIGHT TO GUIDE US TO
THE NEXT CORNER TO TURN AWAY FROM IT, WHERE IT WILL STAY BEHIND,
WE MUST MARCH, NO STOPING UNTIL WE FALL ASLEEP ASKING OUR GOD FOR RELEIF,
WHICH IS SURE TO GET US AHEAD OF IT, LIFE GOES ON, WE GET TO LOOK AT THE HURT IN THE FACE
AND THE TOMORROWS BRING THE SUN BACK WITH HOPE WE ARE SO LONGING FOR,
TAKE CARE , NEVER GIVE UP YOUR SON IS COUNTING ON YOUR STRENGHT

I always come back and think that SARAH PALIN HAS THE GIFT TO CHEER UP THE CROWDS,
IT COME BACK TO MY MIND IN MANY INSTANCES, and that is what AMERICANS NEED,
TO MENTALY VISUALYSE SARAH, IN THE WHITE HOUSE HER SMILING TO AMERICANS WOULD BE WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS, YES THAT IS WHAT IS NEEDED
TO LIFT THE SPIRITS HIGH ABOVE LIKE BEFORE,
AND BY GOD WE WILL

retire05 nailed the heads up, ah HA moment here…. the talking heads are pushing Romney, just as they pushed Mac. The obvious take away? The lib/progs want to run against Romney.

Why? They will, indeed, win. I, for one, am not taking the bait.

Don’t know of any conservatives in my circle that are willing to trade Obama for Obama-lite, just because he has an R behind his name. And I’ve said before… if it’s Romney, Obama can have his second term. I’ll be danged if I’ll allow him a legacy “out”. The damage for the nation is his. Put Mitt “Mr. Obama lite” Romney in, and the zero will just say it’s that pesky GOPer who screwed up his admin momentum.

Nope… a token “R” ain’t good enough. Would rather root for a veto proof majority in both chambers of Congress to thwart Obama from further damage, and let him take the rap as POTUS for the damage incurred.

But it’s still early. There’s little history that shows an early front runner in the polls getting the nomination…. no matter what party. Reagan wasn’t an early front runner. Neither was Clinton, Carter, etal. Bush wasn’t an early front runner either. Anyone remember how Reagan “couldn’t win”?

The race ain’t over. It’s not yet begun.

@rich wheeler: I think Perry has the best credentials but as we know that doesn’t mean much. For 2008 I thought the most QUALIFIED Dem candidate believe it or not was Biden. This probably goes against what a lot of people think, but if I had my choice between Obama and Biden in the WH, I’d take Biden without hesitation. My early prediction for 2012 is either complete Republican control or Obama re-elected with the Republicans in control of both houses of Congress.

A tad more civilized debate for you than the other thread?

The polls also don’t take into account the demoralization of the left wrt to Obama, which will affect voter turnout pretty severely I think. I know that you guys like to paint Obama as some sort of far-left socialist nut, but in reality the lefties are quite disappointed with him:
– end foreign engagements? No, I’ll start some new ones!
– transparency? Never mind, that was just campaign rhetoric.
– civil liberties? Not a priority.

Even on healthcare and oil drilling he’s not really far left. The health plan, train wreck that it is, doesn’t guarantee people health care so much as tell them they damn well better buy insurance. Likewise his position on oil drilling has been mixed. And on top of all of that I think there’s a general recognition that even if he were more ideological and less of self-promoting opportunist, he still has the leadership abilities of a slug.

Here is an analysis by Dick Morris. He brings up some good points although he is overly optimistic. It’s a tad early to be calling the election for someone.

another vet, hi,
I like the way DICK MORRIS EXPLAINED IT, I also like the message underneath his words, which is rise up your expectations and see WHAT IS the other side of the spectrum,
we hear that it will be hard to defeat them but OF COURSE WE WILL; because I SAY MEANING ME HERE, THAT HE IS AS NOW DEFEATING HIMSELF, SOMEONE SAID HE IS RIGHT NOW PACKING
HIS THINGS GETTING READY TO GO,
just take off 1/2 of what you think DICK MORRIS OVERLY CALCULATE,
AND WE WILL STILL WIN 2012
POSITIVE THINKING IS A POWER WITHIN
BYE

I always wonder how the first immigrants to AMERICA, DID SURVIVED THE IMPOSSIBLE JOURNEY IN THOSE BOATS TO BEGIN ,AND LANDED IN THIS AMERICA, FULL OF BEAUTY TO LOOK AT,
FULL OF LANDS TO RUN FREE AS THE INDIANS DID, FULL OF THE MUSIC OF THE WIND SWAYING THE TALL GRASS [WHERE ARE YOU TALL GRASS?]
BUT THEY HAD TO EAT AND FOR THIS ALONE , THEY HAD TO GET TOGETHER
and roll their sleeves and sweat till it pour on the ground,
they had to built their wood house, to shelter their loveone so to love and create a generation to help on the land
and all.
WOW MY GOD ,THAT WAS HARD, AND ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS CHOOSE THE RIGHT LEADER
TO FIT IN WITH THE FISRT FATHERS SO FULL OF HOPE, AND READY TO TACKLE THE FUTURE OF
AMERICA FOR ALL OF US,
IS THAT SO HARD TO DO,? ROLL THE SLEEVES AND GET IT DONE TOGETHER, FOR THE FUTURE

JustAL, hi, me again, thinking of what AYE said.

you know that the last one to be in front chosen by those we trust,
could be the camel, to be big enough and strongest to krash is way in,
and once he is in we give him the saddle fit for a PRESIDENT OF THE MOST POWERFULL COUNTRY OF THE WORLD TO CONQUER WITH PEACE PROMISSES NOT WAR WARNING AND BOUGHT PROMISSES,
BUT IF THEY PUSH OUR CAMEL PRESIDENT, THEY WILL THEN BE CRUSHED WITH HIS MIGHT
IN ONE INSTANCE NOT IN A DECADE OF WAR, THAT IS ON WITH TIRED TROOPS and less weapons AND SO MANY RECALLS OF THOSE WHO SAY NO MORE, BUT HAD BEEN TRAINED TO OBEY THE COMMAND AGAIN EVEN EXAUSTED AT AN AGE TO DESERVE THEIR LIFE BACK BUT AGAIN DENIED
BY A COMMANDER IN CHIEF OBEYING THE COMMAND OF THE UN ORGANISATION INTENDING TO RULES THE UNITED STATES AND SUBMIT THE PENTAGONE TO THEIR PLAN TO
BECOME THE ONLY POWER OF THE WORLD, INCLUDING AMERICA

@ilovebeeswarzone: If you check out his web site, he has a bunch of other good posts there that will get you thinking.

another vet, yes, I sure will,
thank you

Romney is McCain 2008. The press slobbered over him until he won the nomination, then turned around and attacked him to help out Obama. The same thing will happen because many of the voting public believe too much of what they read, or hear, from the MSM.

The Republican party will have it’s nominee chosen for it by the misleadings of the MSM. I will not vote for him, or any other liberal-lite candidate the MSM wants us to put up against Obama. Give me a true conservative like Palin or Bachmann and I’ll do more than just vote for them. I’ll volunteer for their campaigns.

another vet It is a little more rational over here. That phony soldier JVH was a piece of work,
Aye nailed him bigtime.Hope Ms. Bees and others got a heads up.
Seems to be a split here on those like Aye and Nan who will support the nominee against BHO and those who may not like J.G. and Mata.

Knock off the CAPs…it doesn’t make you anymore believable.
Heres the scoop (check out pollinsider.com) Plain is the only one who can beat romney the wimp rino.
Poll Insider goes into history and stats about it. Palin will be the next POTUS.

rich wheeler, yes my head is up looking straight at you with your sneaky insinuation,
but we see you and tom come with it

Ms Bees Glad to hear it. No “sneaky insinuations”You supported that phony 100%. Just wondering what you think about him now? I’ve noticed few if any get a “free ride” at F.A. and that’s a good thing.

Right now I think that Obi still has best chance at getting reelected. After watching the last debates I was surprised at how direct the newt was in his responses. Either he has figured it out that there is a huge crowd out here that wants real answers and not your standard political correct answers that say nothing, and or safe answers that offend no one. I have been really hard on the Newt in the past, but I give him credit for really getting it together this time. Rommey will lose the election just like McCain did. In way I agree with Rush’s theory, that the leftreally wants us to believe that Palin cannot win, so she will not run. I just wish that we could get someone with some fire in their belly, chrisma, and the guts to speak like Newt did. Add some intelligence, and alot of common sense in there too.

rich wheeler, he sure put you in your place, that’s why you did not like him,
but you have to agree with the fact

Bees, the only place that JV Hoffman put anyone was himself… in a lofty seat of fantasy using stolen valor via lies. We have many military readers and commenters here. We’ve also had those that have worked in intel, and an former author who could rarely post comments and opinions because intel was his job. JV gave himself away with his 180 turn and going out further and further on a limb with absurdities, giving us a heads up that this is no intel officer.

The fact that he chose to impersonate military intel officers is what made his vile and offensive commentary all the more offensive.

You may not like rich wheeler. But in this case, you are way on the wrong side of the two humans involved. Sorry girl… must disagree.

He was proven a ‘phony soldier’ which I detest. I served in Viet Nam and my place is secure. Your unqualified support for a phony soldier puts your place in question.

rich wheeler I see you come in but it wont work, , and I dont support the libtard like you,

MATA, disagree on what,
I saw the sneaky rich wheeler come here to try his trick, and I told him that he hate him because JV put him in his place, and it’s the truth.
I did not mention of supporting or not supporting
I did not mention his name anywhere, and I understand what you came out with, and I know that rich wheeler is a snake, and what his intent is

@rich wheeler:

Now Rich… In fairness, not everyone caught on to what JVH turned out to be.

Dealing with people like JVH is a lot like being trained to detect counterfeit money. You’ve gotta know what the real thing looks like and feels like.

Bees, our good friend north of the border would not have much experience dealing with the heroes that serve this nation as special ops or intelligence now would she? She wouldn’t have any way to know that these guys typically remain silent and anonymous regarding the things that they see or do.

There’s just no way to know sometimes who is on the other side of the messages that are posted on the Interwebz.

All you can do is read the words, do the analysis, and then begin to connect the dots. But you’ve got to have the intelligence and experience to realize that something is amiss first.

When you choose to criticize those who didn’t catch on…well, that’s just silly.

I mean…you’re an experienced Marine…and just how quickly did you catch on?

AYE I supported him as a patriot I thought he was, you hit the right button, that I did not quite understood most of it, but like I told JV, AYE IS my friend and I gave you and MATA the benefit of your knowledge, but It was not my role to throw a stone to add up to his person which I realyse was good in talking back to the libtards where the 3 of them threw their stones after MATA comment,, NOT BECAUSE HIS FOUND ERRORS BUT BECAUSE HE HAD TALK BACK TO THEM QUITE LOUD.

Mata and Aye I hear you loud and clear and understand how Ms Bees might have wanted J.V.H. to be what he claimed.Once shown to be a fraud I would hope this a learning experiance. She can jump me all she wants.I accept it. But fer anyone to continue to support that phony soldier is wrong. No free passes here.
BTW AYE This clown early on claimed Field Grade Officer status and knew nothing about The Corps. I had him figured out,you finished him. Thanks
On a reread Ms Bees may NOW accept he was a phony. If that’s the case I’m good and lets move on.O.K.with you MON AMIE.

rich wheeler you try again to put words in my mouth that did not come out,
that’s why I say that you’re a snake, you tryed before, but you wont get me out of here,
I am staying forever with my friends

Ms Bees May you live long and prosper.
Semper Fi Saw U-2 last night. OUTSTANDING

@JustAl

Do not get discouraged yet where the Tea Party folk are concerned. We have not even gotten close to the Republican primaries. There is still plenty of time for Romney to drop in the polls. I am actually encouraged by the large numbers of RINOS running. The will have to divide up the RINO primary vote. If the number of Tea Party & conservative backed candidates running drops, that would give the latter side of the party a big boost in the primary process.

Re: Curt

…If the electoral vote crosses under 270 for his internals before January 2012, he pulls a Lyndon Johnson and bows out of his re-election.

May I add food for thought:

If the electoral votes do drop under 270 against Obama, as far as his party is concerned, (like LBJ,) Obama becomes a first term lame duck. With nothing else left to lose, and a majority of the Democrat party asking him not to run, what will a Soros-socialist President Obama do in his last year of office?

We must try to prepare for aggressive, progressive agenda power-grabs by this administration beyond the considerable legislative bypasses he and his cronies have already committed. I see a very rocky road ahead my friends.

Ditto, hi, did you see BREIHTAR, ON VIDEO,
confronting a crowd of demonstrators, who had post and where yelling,
when he ask them why they where demonstrating, nobody could answer,
and he pick a flag and show the SEU written under, and they where all recalled,
except a little old lady, and he ask her why, and who organise that,
and she said OBAMA for the 2012 election, and he look at the camera noding and thank the lady,
that was very telling, and I thing he is very brave to come in front close enough to touch them

@Bees

Yes, I caught that.

bbartlog, hi, you mentionned the right name, which is slug;
the rain we had was on a everyday for about 3 weeks on a row, and the sun came in days mixed with rain again, the slugs come every years but this year they are all over, invading my plants trees grass and they are bigger too,
making me miserable because I have to destroy them and or evade them on my pathway, they are attempting to rule by their number, I cannot step on them, they are too sluggish, and they get stuck in all the
surfaces I want to preserve, like the strawbwerry plants and the rasberrys, climing up the branches,
I am not going to use pesticides, It go against my beleif, so yes , to be name a slug is realy to take away the right to enjoy life and protect your own food that your plant give you at harvest time when there is no more to harvest;
and the slugs are digged back in the ground, to come back next year to invade your whole life and make everyone miserable, instead of admiring your outdoor you come out and say arch, arch on every step
walking with your head down looking at the slugs
bye
