Not exactly a cave, but a far cry from Pacific Palisades. Interior decorating, obviously wasn’t one of OSama’s skills.
Apparently, his mansion is up for lease this next week.

The Pakistani’s call this a ”mansion?”
It looks more like a ”hovel light” to me.
Is that a hooka at the foot of the bed?
Or an enema bag?
You can see white tubing at the 32 second mark.

anticsrocks: When Geraldo said OBL was in a “mansion,” I expected something very different than what is shown above.
That’s what happens when the western press hears a price tag for a facility, hears it’s more of an upscale neighborhood, and assigns western values and perspectives, anticsrocks. Without seeing the photos, I never assumed that UBL lived in a luxury palace. I don’t think that UBL shunned his fundamentalism after becoming what was tantamount to being an impotent terrorist figurehead. I guessed all the construction cost was put into the land, the security, walls…. all the extras that a man, who’s career was now to see if he could live another day, required.
Building a fortress ain’t cheap…. And I wonder if there weren’t escape tunnels built that we haven’t heard about yet. Considering the speed and timing of the mission, I’d guess he’d not had enough time to get to them. But perhaps he was trying… there has got to be a reason that Seals ended up shooting an unarmed man. They did want to take him alive is possible… tho I doubt he would have responded to any “enhanced interrogation” techniques. So resistance, and attempts to escape is the most likely scene that comes to mind.
anticsrock, hi, yes, It’s their vision of wealthy living,
the poor women living in that constantly, to serve the master
they all put on a top of the ladder of their world

@MataHarley: Yeah, I see what you mean. I guess I was thinking in terms of western values, etc…
Everything in perspective, I suppose it is quite the digs for a third world country.
