He says all the right things, but I don’t know. Just came across as too little, too late to me. But maybe I just am disgusted with the leadership performance of the GOP to date.
I think it’s the lack of leadership from the GOP in general. It’s almost as if the Republican higher-ups failed to recognize that the TEA Party groundswell, that swept them into the House majority, and nearly gained them the senate as well, wasn’t simply a rejection of Obama/Pelosi/Reid, but rather, a rejection of liberal/progressive actions in DC, of which the GOP is involved in too.

“….excessively partisan, dramatically inaccurate, and hopelessly inadequate ….”
Yup, sounds like Obama all right.
It would be good if Republicans point our REPEATEDLY that Obama has NO PLAN.
None!
All he wants to do is punt ….again.
Another commission (after he ignored the findings of the last commission).
There’s an old saying, ”don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good.”
It certainly applies here.
Without a real plan, Obama’s supporters can picture whatever perfect plan they’d like to put in Obama’s empty frame.
But what Rep. Ryan has, while probably not perfect, is a GOOD plan.
Let’s not be derailed by Obama’s fantasy.

@johngalt: I must concur with you, sir. Seems that it is hard to get the “politician” out of the GOP leadership.
@Nan G: Yes, the GOP has a problem with their message.
They don’t seem to have one…
