Obama has made a mess, he might need some old fashioned Conservative toilet paper

This is an email from an affluent, educated, Liberal female in her thirties, she has an extremely high IQ and a speed reading ability that I have never seen equaled; I know her quite well, I took her camping and fishing and taught her Algebra, Geometry, and mathematics at an age when most kids are still learning their alphabet, she is my daughter. She lives in Alberta and often flies to Maui for holidays; unfortunately, this means going through American TSA sexual fondling. She and her friends have been dedicated Liberals and they rarely agree with me on anything. As a matter of fact, they have considered me a throwback to prehistory, at least until recently. She is now taking a second look at the Myth that is Obama and his Open Society Socialism.
I am flying tomorrow with my family and am already coming up with sharp retorts to any security person who pats me down inappropriately or treats my child as a threat to national security. Realistically, I know I won’t use them and I will stand in line and not say anything because I just want to be able to get on my plane and leave this extremely cold weather and drink margaritas on a beach.
We have traveled with our children a lot. Most of the time it has been alright, but there was the time they took my daughter’s little horse away from her even though she was already upset and crying, to put it through the scanner. After they took her toy away they made her walk through the metal detector by herself, still crying hysterically. She was barely two. When I was pregnant I couldn’t go through the scanners (not that I really want to anyway) and I had to submit to pat downs in every single security line. It is degrading to have someone feel underneath your pregnant breasts to make sure you are not carrying a bomb. The inevitable powerlessness that comes with standing in airport security lines makes me want to scream in rage. I am not a criminal, I don’t want or expect to be treated like one just so that I can get on a plane. And I’m still not convinced that all of these “security” measures actually make a bit of difference. Except to give the TSA absolute control over our lives for the hour+ that we stand in line to wait for them to make sure that our children aren’t carrying explosives in their toys. Or that we don’t have suspect materials in our flip flops.I hate all of this, but besides the total loss of dignity, what also bothers me is that I turn into a raving, foaming at the mouth crazy person when I start talking about it. I raise my voice. I don’t like this; I prefer to be civilized.
All of this for an illusion of security.
F*ck security.
You Useful Idiots are throwing away your dreams of a Socialist Open Society by allowing the arrogant Narcissism of Obama destroy any and all gains you have made. People are realizing, that they are surrendering their freedoms to Obama:
Except to give the TSA absolute control over our lives
You are now alienating huge segments of once loyal believers, followers, and sycophants. Unless Obama can destroy or neutralize the Constitution in the next two years and consolidate his power and control with these backhanded methods of rewriting Constitutional Law, that force semi-law enforcement types to ignore the Fourth Amendment and conduct illegal searches that deprive Americans deprive Americans of Constitutional Rights and expose individual agents to prosecution for following illegal orders, (assuming we hold them to the same standards as our military) Obama is toast in 2012. Obviously he must go for broke by usurping all the power and control possible, since he is losing support at an unprecedented rate.
Perhaps TSA agents should consider that orders to perform illegal acts does not make the acts legal. Your boss can tell you to rape a young girl, but guess what, you are guilty of rape. Sexual fondling is sexual assault, guess what, You are guilty of sexual assault. You are supposed to be smart enough to not follow illegal orders!
The National Socialists didn’t get away with “Orders From Above” pleas: they were hanged and shot on a wholesale basis for their complicity in crimes against humanity. Are these sexual assaults against children and women crimes against humanity? I have a feeling we will soon find out.
The most ironic thing about this assertion of Totalitarian control by Obama is that he is defeating himself, thus he makes our job so much easier. Of course, next year he will be arguing that we would have lost several airliners if we wouldn’t have surrendered our Fourth Amendment Rights and submitted our women and girls to sexual fondling by the TSA. Like the jobs he saved, it is a hard point to argue, ambiguity will always be ambiguity nothing less, nothing more.
Someone tell this soldier her baby needs to be sexually fondled by the Obama/Napolitano agents.

Citizens, record the agents’ names that fondle your intimate parts, report all assaults to the police immediately and report the assaults to airport security. We will put these individual agents and their supervisors behind bars and then we will go after Napolitano and Obama.
F*ck Security
Epilogue: The email is from my daughter, she has believed the Liberal Party Line for years and was all excited about Obama a couple of years ago; unfortunately for you Socialists, Obama has taken a dump and has fallen back in it. While he tries terrorists in civilian court and loses on over two hundred charges, we are faced with his assurances that surrendering our Rights from Unlawful Search and Seizure is necessary to neutralize the terrorist threat, but we are to dread the day when real security profiling might foil a terrorist plot. If we defeat them it will be because we are politically correct and not because we resorted to a proven successful tactic like profiling, observation, and interrogation procedures for everyone. Like the Jihadist, I find Obama’s incompetence and self-righteous posturing about political correctness to be too funny for words; unfortunately, his bumbling and incompetence has cost American lives with his unrealistic rules of engagement and now the incompetence of his sycophant Napolitano is probably going to cost American civilian lives. If there is a bright side it is the enmity he is building among Americans: thus his reelection possibilities are becoming little more than a pipe dream.

Skook has finished an historical novel, Fifty Thousand Years, that traces a mitochondrial line of DNA from 50,000 years ago to the present. The story follows a line of courageous women, from the Ice Ages to the present, as they meet the challenges of survival with grit and creativity. These are not women who whimper of being victims, they meet the challenges of survival as women who use their abilities without excuses or remorse, these women are winners, they are our ancestors.
Fifty Thousand Years is available in paperback and e-book, it is getting great reviews. You can purchase a copy here; Visit me on Facebook.

Israel utilizes behavioral profiling. Works for them, but for some reason the US just won’t try it.
Antics, our border guards use those same techniques. That is how they caught the millenium bomber entering the US from Vancouver. He was on his way to blow up LAX with a trunk load of explosives.
Those guys are good and tricky. They ask you the same question two or three times, they have your info from your plates, they watch your eyes. I like that one, I stare right into people’s eyes anyway. They have only pulled me inside one time for questioning and checked my vehicle twice. I’d say they are a lot more wired together than the TSA agents who pulled me out for interrogation on almost every flight. They learned nothing and accomplished nothing in the last nine years. Now they dose you with who knows what or subject you to frisking. A tremendous waste of effort for negligible results.
Time for bed Antics, tomorrow is another long day of work.
A system and technology can always be beat, profilers can change their techniques and questions almost daily.
We don’t have a terrorist problem. We have a muslim problem, and one of them is in the WHitehouse. That kind of explains everything.
Scott Factor: A very astute observation that is absolutely correct. President Bush would never have done this to Americans. He would have profiled baby, you can count on that. 😡
I don’t know about Obama being muslim. But, I do know that I have despised the TSA since it’s inception. Unfortunately, the TSA came into being during Bush’s presidency.
Don’t get me wrong, I liked many of Bush’s policies and disliked some (amnesty, DHS/TSA, etc).
The problem is, this isn’t Obama’s doing. This is a bureaucrat making horrible policy. Much like when TSA used to literally air your dirty laundry.
The TSA is filled with people who have no skills. My ex-sister in law works there. Right after the TSA was created, they started a hiring spree. She worked at Target as a cashier. Somehow this qualified her for a position in aviation security. I never considered her the sharpest tool in the shed, and yet she complains about how stupid the people and policies are.
The government attracts people who are not thinkers but mindless bots who do as they are told. When the bureaucrat gains control, something the liberal becomes giddy as they can now make law by fiat. The problem is, this has been in play for a while, likely before Obama. And while Obama should show some leadership and do/say anything, the organization really shouldn’t exist to begin with. And for that, I blame Bush.

Breaking: Former Gov. Ventura Will No Longer Fly Due to Abuse He’s Endured at Hands of TSA
Kurt Nimmo
Infowars.com
November 19, 2010
Jesse said he will no longer be forced by the TSA to prove he is not a criminal or terrorist.
Appearing on the Alex Jones Show today, the former governor of Minnesota and host of the popular TruTV show, Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura, announced he will no longer use commercial airlines due to the egregious abuses of the TSA and the government.
Ventura said he made the decision to avoid public aircraft after he found himself becoming too comfortable with being routinely searched. He said he was subjected to pat down and search three or four times a week when he traveled for his television show. Ventura had hip surgery and the metal in his body invariably sets off airport metal detectors.
Jesse said he will no longer be forced by the TSA to prove he is not a criminal or terrorist. He refuses to be considered guilty until proven innocent by the government in violation of the Fourth Amendment. He also admitted the decision not to fly may put an end to his career.
After the Department of Homeland Security announced the TSA will conduct “enhanced” pat downs of people opting out of naked body scanners following the toner non-bombing fiasco earlier in the month, the Drudge Report teamed up with Infowars.com and Prison Planet.com to cover exploding public resistance to the new effort by the government to normalize the populace to ever-increasing police state tactics.
Resistance to airport Gestapo zones gained critical momentum after pilots and flight attendants opposed searches and threatened to sue the government. “Nationwide outrage against the TSA is not only bringing to light new cases of airport abuse, it’s throwing fresh attention on previous incidents that have been going on for years,” Paul Joseph Watson wrote on Thursday.
Several people have initiated lawsuits against the government, including a 21-year-old college student from Amarillo, Texas, who had her breasts exposed by a TSA goon and a businessman and frequent traveler who is infuriated by TSA workers sexually groping passengers, squeezing breasts and genitals, that he has filed a lawsuit in federal court in Miami requesting an injunction against the TSA to prevent them from touching private areas without reasonable suspicion.
Napolitano is directly responsible for the new policies, but it is safe to assume that she is a political hack and “Yes Man” for Obama. Obama is directly responsible for the actions of Napolitano. Right now, this dynamic duo isn’t gaining any points with Americans or anyone else, except for the Muslim Terrorist who knows he must now carry bombs in his rectum. It’s not that big of deal, no pun intended, drug smugglers do it everyday. In the mean time, they laugh at our political correctness and our Keystone Cops attitude toward profiling and the same techniques our Border Guards employ, techniques that are proven to be very successful; however, for that system to work you can’t employ the lowest common denominator for security and hope to fight the war on terror with Three Stooges type efficiency.
Yes the majority of these Three Stooges types were hired during the Bush presidency. Yes, Bush initiated the TSA. Why is it that Liberals must use Bush and his record like school children present their arguments?
Will this become a method for defending Obama’s legacy in history books?
It is doubtful that you will hear Conservative pundits defending the new president in 2012 with “Obama did it, that’s why we can’t improve on it”; hopefully, they will be saying, “Obama did it this way, we can no longer carry on with such self-defeating policies.”
A comment I came across from a deployed vet:
Now let the P*ss*ng and moaning commence, I am off to work.
I dare you to look at my comment record and compare me to a liberal. Really Skookum?
I believe Bush was a far better president than Obama. Obama is an empty suit pushing a screwed up agenda.
But, I am not a blind Bush supporter, either. I was behind many of his policies, including the invasion of Iraq (many UN Resolutions broken, WMD, etc). I was absolutely opposed to the TSA from the beginning because of this reason. The TSA has always been about show not results.
I pointed to Bush simply because he approved the creation of this monstrosity. I believe it was something the Democrats were pushing for, at the time. It was a mistake back then and now even more. The Democrats were pushing for it, giving a much larger government footprint.
Bush never complained about his predecessor. Nor his successor. In fact, until recently, you rarely heard previous presidents speak out. Until Bush was president. I believe it sets a horrible precedent.
I only remind you that this organization was created under President Bush. It was a horrible idea then, it’s much, much worse now.
Our Founding Father’s would never recognize what our government has become.
And for the record, I am a right leaning libertarian. I am fiscally conservative, socially moderate, anti-big government. I support the Bush tax cuts for all and wish the government forced a balanced budget. So, please, don’t call me a liberal. I do not suffer from that mental disorder.
Chipset: The mistake was on my part for not referring to Mikey in particular. Check out his comment. I did not mistake you for a Liberal, please! I know it is an insult, but it was not directed at you. Now I must look at some horses.
Although after rereading Mikey’s comment, I am not sure whether he was being sarcastic or not. Is he speaking of profiling babies or is it in the same reference as Drill baby drill? Confusion steps in when we are not precise in writing commentary and reading. I am guilty of both at times, but I can admit when I have made an error. I will try to be more specific, if you will try to be more careful. 😉
I hear a trailer.
chipset; hi, I am glad you made the point now, because we are used to hear against BUSH ,
FROM the DEMOCRATS SYMPATYSERS WHO COME HERE TO BASH THIS [ PRESIDENT BUSH],
AND IT GOT TO A POINT WHERE THEY ACCUSE HIM OF EVERY FAILURES THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE THEMSELF TO HAVE DONE SINCE THEY WHERE A MAJORITY EVEN WHEN BUSH
WAS IN POWER, THIS MAJORITY DEMOCRATS WOULD SWINDLE BILLS AMONG THE EXECUTIVE BILLS FROM PRESIDENT BUSH, AND NOW THEY STILL DO THE SWINDLE ON THEIR OWN .
SO PRESIDENT BUSH IS VERY GRACIOUS TO NOT RESPOND TO ANY WHO BASH HIM;
I AM SURE HE COULD FIND AN ANSWER TO ALL THIS BASHING WITHOUT ANY DEEPER SEARCH, INCLUDING YOUR’S BASHING,
BEST TO YOU, AND WELCOME WITH OUR GROUP ,
With the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays on the horizon, Americans will be making a choice.
Fly or Not Fly. Travel by driving, train or bus is time consuming. Many Americans, in light of the TSA Enhanced Procedures, may opt out of air travel during the Holidays, affecting the Bottom Line for the Airlines during their high volume traffic times.
Stupid Gummint Policies, Over Reach and Over Regulation has consequences. Pray tell how many Terrorists have been apprehended through the use of this intrusive procedure? How many attackers have been caught through this new grope-o-logical experiment? Zero, Zip, None.
How about the Airline Industry taking a hit in profits for Coach Napolitano & Her Team?
Reducing your Freedoms and the Economy, One Dumb A$$ed Program/Policy at a time.
Now, before any of you want to feel froggy on this, tell me how many Terrorists/Attacks were squelched on this? Then how many Travelers were offended, humiliated by this? There are better methods out there folks. Israel is the sterling example of prevention on terrorist incidents via Air Travel.
The Amateur Regime just can figure it out. They should just ask Israel or Jordan how it is done.
Mickey, what’s with your comment on PRESIDENT BUSH,? can you explain?
It’s sounds very wrong as it is.
SKOOKUM, THAT WOMEN SOLDIER BRING A TEAR FOR MY EYES, YOU CAN SEE THE EMOTIONS
EXPLODING FROM THAT IMAGE, THANK YOU,
Skookum-
I watched a couple of hours of Vebntura’s show just last night. It was a fun watch, but I have to say, if the truth was known the real reason he’s not going to fly is he’s probably afraid George H W Bush or the military industrial complext is waiting for just the right time to shoot him out of the sky.
As I read Mikey’s comment, I mentally added a comma, as in profile, baby! (I could also be wrong.)
I look at this TSA mess as a win, win, win for Obama. (For the moment.) He is attracting mindless robots who agree that intrusive searches are fine with them because they believe anything and everything liberals tell them. We are being trained like Pavlovian dogs to accept subservience.
It’s a win because it will kill the airline industry if it continues and I believe that is also a goal, adding to the destruction of our country and the independent businesses that are still trying to survive.
It’s a win because while we are paying attention to this, there are a dozen other freedoms being attacked that we aren’t noticing. (Net neutrality, silencing Rush and Beck, no new oil drilling permits just to name a few.)
Thankfully, we haven’t succumbed, we’ve been alerted and are fighting back.
Skookum, I can understand your argument, but I’m going to have to say that I reject the premise. We don’t have a right to fly any more than we have a right to drive. The reason is that along with our rights comes the rights of others to be free of us. We require people to be licensed to drive.
If you choose to fly, you agree to the terms and conditions that go along with that choice. A person can choose not to fly.
I think Old Trooper is on the money in his post. These policies are going to affect the airlines way more than they affect the average person. Because more and more people are going to choose not to fly.
Are the TSA policies stupid? Yeah, they’re not only stupid but they are being reactive instead of proactive. Someone goes through the airport with liquids that can be used as an explosive and suddenly we are limited to 4oz bottles in our carry-on. Someone puts explosives in their shoes, we take our shoes off now. Someone puts explosives in their underwear, we get backscatter x-ray and enhanced pat downs.
The TSA is a government agency. Government agencies do not allow employees to use common sense. Hell, a large majority of their employees have no common sense. So if a 3 year old girl walks through the scanner and sets it off twice, the rule book says they must submit to enhanced pat down. Does this make it right? No!
Now you have to ask yourself this question. Do you want the TSA employees to make their own decisions?
Government agencies are too big. They have grown as a result of the actions of both parties. Agencies like the TSA is what happens when agencies are allowed to grow that big. It’s our fault. We allowed it to happen and we are the ones that need to fix it.
A few comments:
1. I fly several times a year, so I experience security on a regular basis.
2. I believe that most airport screeners are honest people, following their job descriptions. A few are ill-mannered jerks, gropers or vouyers.
3. The screeners were probably all trained to follow specific procedures. I am a training manager and know how this works. My guess is that the training was based on poor objectives, or poorly done. Most people do not want to humilitate others or touch their junk.
4. The organization I work for is unionized. Unions protect their own, even if their own is undermining the organization’s ability to function in a cost-effective manner (as in screw the taxpayers / customers, just hand me the overtime… even if I didn’t work it).
5. Screeners are pushing to be unionized. From what I’ve read, the unions will bring in $50,000,000 per year in fees from the union workers.
6. The unions will support the gropers, and vouyers when complaints are filed against them. The customer /taxpayer will lose.
7. It seems to me that the new screening procedures were put into place without any real and/or realistic plan and/or realistic training. It appears to be thrown together by a bunch of government lifers and /or inexperienced “know it alls” (people like our dear leader).
Stopping terrorists does not start with terrorizing us, or giving passes to “muslim women” or people wearing lose, baggy clothes (as CAIR wants).
Time to call our new Congress.
It seems to always become a big problem, when any AGENCY, or UNION or COMPANY THAT
BECOME TO BIG, are loosing sight of the service they owe to their customers which made them grow succesfully. then the mistakes they make are their downfall at a rapid momemtum,
THE PEOPLE GET ANGRY AND THEY GIVE UP BEING CLIENTS VERY FAST, AND IT’S A LOSS FOR ALL, AND THERE COME ANOTHER COMPANY TO CHANGE THE RULES TO PLEASE THEIR CLIENTS,
AND IF THAT COMPANY BELONG TO FOREIGN COUNTRY, NO PROFIT WILL STAY AT HOME TO BE SPENT,
Just to clarify, TSA (including screeners) already have union representation from AFGE. However union representation and collective bargaining rights are two different critters. The latter is what Helene is referring to… AFGE’s push to grant screeners collective bargaining.
@chipset, yes the TSA was born in the wake of 911 under Bush. However the body scanners and current regulations were not, and are the making of Napolitano and compadres. It is entirely possible take a bad idea to new heights….
I’m with Old Trooper, Aqua, Curt and a few others on this… profile away. I doubt this current push for scanning/pat downs is going to be effective. Hang, was talking to a guy just a couple of days ago who got thru both domestic and international screening with a stray, leftover bullet in his hunting jacket. They didn’t find it until about the fifth security check. Boy did they haul him aside… and how embarrassing for the prior check points.
I also agree that where many may opt not to fly to avoid the hassle, the ones that will suffer will be the airlines and our economy overall.
Oddly enough, opposition to the body scanners is finding an unlikely ally in a union… the pilots’ union, to be exact. They are urging their pilot members to avoid the scanners because of their frequency of security checks and radiation hazard. So TSA is looking for alternatives for pilot security checks. I would assume this would also extend to the airline cabin crews as well. Ground crews as well?
While many may not fly as often as the airline crews, the question would be how “frequent” a flier must you be to qualify for a similar alternative security check? Where is the dividing line for radiation exposure? As our FA resident, Larry “I cure cancer for a living… really” W said, are these machines going to be regularly tested for proper calibration?
If I have to fly I’ll have fun with it. I’ll find me the biggest strap-on dildo I can find, one with some flexibility to it and an inner motor that will make it vibrate, as well as expand and contract. Maybe even ooze some kind of warm liquid from the tip. Let the groping begin.
OLD TROOPER 2, HI, YES, many people might decide to take the train, and might find it
VERY PLEASING, and why not take the extra time to prevent a stress fast travel.
bye
>>5. Screeners are pushing to be unionized. From what I’ve read, the unions will bring in $50,000,000 per year in fees from the union workers.

Hmmm. Very good point.
>>many people might decide to take the train, and might find it
VERY PLEASING, and why not take the extra time to prevent a stress fast travel.
bye>>
You mean the very heavily government subsidized Amtrak???
You better hope that no one finds a way to make a passenger train into a killer vehicle, or the airport inspections will seem old hat.
suek, hi,what is the alternative, at least they don’t go and search their customers like
the airport, bye
For those like me, the option of a train doesn’t work.
I have traveled over 1.5 million miles since 9/11. The TSA has cost me months of time, forced me check luggage during the liquid ban, which caused lost luggage, etc.
If you think these devices have only been thought about for 2 years, you are mistaken. They were thought of while Bush was in office.
The upper machine, while annoying and slow, would actually find explosives. But then I ask, how many people were caught with those? And they were in place before 2008, as I was going through them in 2006.
TSA is the problem. And those that lead it make it worse. I am not blaming Bush for the management of the organization today. I am saying that new management sucks. Too bad the tool was given to them, that’s all.
Don’t mistake my comments about TSA and criticizing some of his decisions with not respecting him and his position. I voted for him twice, and proudly.
His leadership has left a vacuum in Washington that was filled with people unprepared to lead.
I travel almost weekly and I can tell you the TSA jerks are typical union. There is a minimum of 10 too many agents standing around doing nothing. I have a total knee so every time I am subject to this humiliation. Believe me, the procedure is not uniform from airport to airport. I see 10 people doing nothing, I go through and hear the male assist signal go out. My bins and luggage get beaten around for five minutes and finally one of the jerks doing nothing relents to do his job and I go through. I feel no more secure that if they had done nothing. For me, I’m a 61 year old guy so if you want to touch my junk your a pervert but just a cheap thrill for me. I worry about my twin 19 year old beautiful daughters though and the humiliation this could cause them for NO reason. It’s the liberal Democrat political correctness that has cuased this madness and therefore failed to really target those who will kill us. Let’s get serious and profile the muslim terrorist who killed us in the name of Allah in the first place and stop playing games.
Chipset, hi, yes ,I would say, the BUSH people started from an IDEA and THIS government,
instead of making it improve, they made it ROTTEN, hope our new elected
CONSERVATIVES, FIND THE WAY TO CRACK THE SYSTEM THEY USE NOW, BYE
I posted this elsewhere a day ago:
———————————————–
Last time I flew out of San Diego on an international flight a couple of months ago, some TSA supervisor dickhead suddenly strode through the crowded screening area yelling “FREEZE!” at the top of his lungs. Many people were not clear what he meant, which was apparently “don’t so much as move a muscle, don’t even blink.” The slightest movement was met with loud hateful roars of “I SAID FREEZE” and “DON’T MOVE” right in people’s faces, including a little old lady. Standing on one foot and taking off your shoe? Continue standing on one foot or get yelled at. Then after a minute or so, they announced it was just a drill.
————————————————–
Has anybody else run into this particular bit of insulting, pointless Simon Says theater from the TSA?
I really hate these people.
I’m going to the extreme here…. but what we are seeing/experiencing, is just how easy it was for Hitler et al to get the average person to don a uniform, tell a bunch of innocents to ‘come this way’, disrobe, and enter the gas chamber. These mindless drones will do anything for a buck – eye naked bodies and grope women and children and innocent Americans.
If the TSA agents actually had a backbone, if they had objected immediately and said they will not be agents of abuse and uphold Constitutional rights, this would have never happened. But they are certainly the most unintelligent bunch who probably do not even know what the Constitution says.
Also, I have yet to read one horror story about the excessive use of touchy/feely from a muslim. Not one.
What this tells me is that they are reverse profiling – if someone looks to be from a Middle Eastern country, they are not going through this procedure. Either that, or muslims have found an alternative means of transport.
Lawsuits needs to happen NOW. Napolitano has somehow decided she can dismiss 4th Amendment rights and not one lawyer has found the courage to sue the government.
I totally agree with the comment Skookum posted from the deployed vet. What are they fighting for if the governemnt has already abandoned the Bill of Rights and our Constitution?
And now we find out that BO says he has no idea about the new procedures and what they entail.
Though I don’t believe him. He wants the airlines to suffer, just as he rejoiced at the suffering of the car industry, so (sarc) he could take them over only to later sell them off the the Chinese and Middle Eastern countries. American will really be safe after he does that /sarc
Profile. Hire returning troops who already are well versed in how to detect terrorists to do the job.
ooops… just learned never to try to edit a post here. lol what is up with the ajax editing control? It won’t let me edit the post – like a heartbeat it keeps jumping as it counts down the seconds. 🙂
The last time I was ever on an aircraft was in 2000, so I do not know first hand the horrors but my mother was recently put though the nightmare. She’s in her 60’s, hardly fit to even jog 100 meters, and has a bad knee and back but TSA choose her to be padded down and searched in 2009 for a trip to New Jersey while ignoring (and by her account, almost escorting) a few Arab men in their twenties to the same aircraft she was boarding with minimal or no security checking what so ever while almost all other passengers had been searched. After her little event, she’s refusing to fly again mainly so someone does not touch her again and due to her hatred of how she’s viewed as the suspect of terrorism.
The screening machines from Rapiscan is now being ran by one CEO Michael Chertoff… who was also a former Director of Homeland Security from the Bush administration. During his time as Director, he commented on Rapiscan’s machines to the Senate and it is large part due to their support of investing in these machines for TSA why we have this mess. All that the current Director is doing is further adding to the pile of incompetence with violating the 4th amendment.
Last time I flew out of San Diego on an international flight a couple of months ago, some TSA supervisor dickhead suddenly strode through the crowded screening area yelling FREEZE! at the top of his lungs. Maybe it’s San Diego because that’s the airport I start and end with.
Just me 95; HI on your 30, the same thing happen to me while I wanted to correct a word error
and it did not allowe me and jumping too as I desperatly was trying to reach my word
many time I tryed and gave up , but it happen only once, and no such problem reoccur after,

Aqua: I might have gone out on a tangent at some point, not that unusual for me. But I tried to make the premise that the Libs were shooting themselves in the foot and Obama was ruining any chance at being reelected. From the email from my daughter, once a dedicated Lib and the responses of our comment crowd, the reaction of the public is worse than I anticipated.
Obama claiming he is ignorant is hard to dispute; none the less he is responsible for his political appointees. Unfortunately for the airlines, a few bad weeks will mean they will be bankrupt because of Obama policy and stupidity. You may have this article confused with my previous article.
I was thinking of confusion today. People contract my services, If I don’t know them, I have no idea of what they will be like. So obviously, I have worked for a wide variety of people.
Today around noon, a wealthy older couple came in with horses, they figured I could’t be the man they came to see and ignored me, so I ignored them and kept working. Eventually the man walked over to me and asked if I knew where the terlet was, I wasn’t sure what he was talking about so I asked him where what was? He said the terlet word again. I was running things through my mind trying to figure out what a terlet was and then it dawned on me, he wanted to use a toilet.
I told him that just beyond that five ton truck there is a building, the bathroom is in the Southeast corner, now he didn’t have a clue as to what I was talking about. He wouldn’t know a five ton truck if it ran over him, he didn’t understand just beyond, and he didn’t know one direction from another despite the fact that it was noon and the sun was directly over head to the South. What we had was a failure to communicate.
It wasn’t exactly his fault and it wasn’t exactly my fault. We were from two different cultures; to him I was a barbarian who could do surprising things with a horse and to me he was a stuck up elitist snob that would die in the country without a crew of illegals to help him out.
If he didn’t need me he wouldn’t be on my property and if he wasn’t ready to write me a check, I wouldn’t have allowed him on the property.
In a larger sense, if we don’t let Obama know our feelings, we have failed to communicate. It is probably academic, I doubt that he cares, since his goal seems to be the economic destruction of free enterprise and the establishment of unions as the only alternative to government jobs.
The destruction of air travel is probably just another part of the Obama/Soros Open Society implementation plan, along with the steady degradation of the Constitution.
SKOOKUM; hi, so where was the TERLET?
I barely can see my keybord, laughing so I again have tears in my eyes, bye
CURT, hi, I see you remove the red line on my words error, that tell me I AM PERFECT BYE
Skook, . . . a peculiar coincidence . . .
“they took my daughter’s little horse away from her even though she was already upset and crying, to put it through the scanner. After they took her toy away they made her walk through the metal detector by herself, still crying hysterically. She was barely two.”
I had a phone discussion with my daughter earlier, travelling with my 19 month old granddaughter – they had flown out of SFO. I heard a story, dressed in frustration, almost identical to the one you relate here. The minor difference is that the “toy” was a stuffed bunny rather than a horse. Purse emptied, scanned/rescanned, stuffed toy checked/rechecked, including the baby (also crying hysterically). Why? My daughter is a professional with a usually cool head, and she has flown endlessly in and out of this airport, – did any of these people have a clue? Was there a perverted excuse to “hassle” just because they can? There was no sound reasoning evident in anything she was subjected to.
The new levels of stupidity perpetrated on travellers prior to boarding the airplane have been elevated beyond common sense.
Intelligent profiling, processing probabilities, and systems placed in the hands of well trained individuals, with training similar to that of border guards, would make plane travel less cumbersome and less personally repugnant.
JR, I respect your opinions, especially your business opinions. How long will the airlines stay in business with the inevitable decrease in passengers as a result of this inept and unprofessional screening by the Obama sycophant pretend security personnel under direction of Naploitano?
Can they last a month?
Is this the real intention of Obama to destroy yet another large portion of our economy while instituting totalitarian control measures?
We are just two semi-random men who communicate, there are going to be millions of these stories within a week or two. What is your prognosis for the survival of airlines and air travel?
Wow, you have a new-to-me read on corporate business practices and human nature to insinuate such a fate for the airline industry. Perhaps I’m out of step.
Despite my misgivings, I’m fully prepared to make a million dollar wager. It says there are packed planes of mildly annoyed travelers in the sky Christmas Eve. do I get odds on that?
Tom, I should have elaborated. Can the airlines last a month if people quit flying? There is the question of fulfilling financial obligations if the receipts aren’t there.
If you read the commentary you might have noticed that some people are deciding not to fly. Every lost passenger is lost revenue.
If you remember, after 9/11 the airlines were very close to collapse. It was a period of loss that they haven’t fully recovered from. So perhaps, I should ask you Tom, how long will the airlines stay in business if people opt out of flying. Their debt needs to be serviced, whether the planes fly or not.
If one out of a hundred fliers decide not to fly, the airlines will probably feel the difference. If they lose 30%, I don’t think they will make it. How long will they last if they lose 30% of their business in a narrow margin business? Will they last 90 days or 6 months? Maybe you think they can make it indefinitely after losing 30%? I was asking a business consultant, but why don’t you enlighten us with your business acumen.
As you may know Tom, nearly all holiday flights are purchased weeks ahead for the lowest possible fare and unless you pay full price, they are not refundable. Maybe the airlines don’t care if you use your ticket or not, but the holidays will soon be over with a foul taste in many people’s mouths. To me, the imposition of these rules at this particular time is circumspect, like the WH and congress doing unpopular things on Friday afternoon to avoid a percentage of bad press and pubic outrage.
People want to travel home for the holidays, but vacation flying and business travel for short hops may be drawing to a close. Maybe that might be 30%, I don’t really know for sure, but in a few weeks we are going to find out. Maybe people like myself and a few others on this blog and other blogs who will now either drive or fly privately don’t add up to 30% or maybe they add up to 50%, either way we will find out after Christmas, when the maximum amount of people have been “Patted”. How ironic that they use such a benign word to grope a woman’s most intimate parts. Like they say Tom, “if you don’t like it, don’t fly”. Sometimes that type of indifferent bravado can bite you in the ass: I think the airlines are about to be bit in the ass.
If you think the “Patting” will improve their profit margin, you should explain your reasoning instead of impressing us with your keen gambling skills.
Remember, I was asking a man who actually makes his living as a consultant, because I wanted his opinion Tom, not yours. He may agree with you, that there will be no lost revenue and the narrow margin of the airlines will not be affected. Although his opinion will only be his opinion, I and many others regard it much more highly than your opinion.
@ Tom, Don’t bet the ranch on that. I doubt that wagering your personal net worth at even odds would be worth the risk. The Airlines operate on a fairly small margin. All it takes is 10 to 20% of discretionary travel to make both a statement and an impact on their P&L for the 4th Qtr.
Businesses can resort to teleconferencing as a cost savings and fly less. That could have an impact as well.
Also Travel related industry such as Lodging, Restaurants and shopping away from Home are involved.
It is more complex than what you have considered then?
Now everybody, don’t get your bowels in an uproar over these intrusions. After all, Claire McCaskill (from the great state of Missouri) explains the screenings as “love pats”. I’m not making this up.
There internet news sites are full of crazy TSA stuff this morning. I think Drudge is making this a personal mission. I fly all the time. Besides some of the TSA agents being a$$ clowns, (which you find in any agency) I have never had a problem. But after reading the news this morning, I’m starting to change my mind

are just incredible. Seriously TSA, WTF?
Kansas Girl, whoa there Nelly! I think McCaskill has a lovemaking style that is a little bit out of the ordinary, according to the complaints I have been reading. She doesn’t look like that kind of “Swinger”, but some people are pretty wild at night behind closed doors and McCaskill has given us insight into her boudoir. I think we can safely refer to Claire as “Swinger Claire McCaskill”. Has a nice ring to it, she might be proud to be called Swinger.
Love Pats Indeed!
American Women and young girls just need to become more Liberal with their bodies and not be intimidated by intrusions from strangers, after all they are just “Love Pats”, nothing at all if you are a swinger like Claire McCaskill. If groping and fondling are inevitable, learn to enjoy it or don’t fly. This is what Swinger Claire McCaskill and the administration is saying.
No need to worry Skookum, I’m pretty sure there are more “conservative” gals in the great midwest than “swinging” liberal urban dwellers. I shall not be flying anytime soon.
Skookum,
So it’s a little more complicated, a little less dire, than you initially put it? That seems to be the case with many things you write. It appears your strategy is to move from one thing to another, pushing the panic button and trying to rile your constituents against Obama through fear. One month it’s immigration, the next it’s Muslims, then it’s Obama’s vanguard for the imminent race war, the Black Panthers, now it’s the TSA. You make your predictions of imminent disaster and then move on with impunity, never bothering to address the actual outcome when it doesn’t live up to the hype.
Yes, the TSA and the airline situation is certainly dynamic. I don’t think we realize how dynamic or catastrophic the situation is going to be. Hopefully, the administration will be forced to adopt profiling in a manner similar to that of El Al and reorganize the Department of Homeland Security before we destroy our air travel business.
I have constituents? No thanks Tom, I don’t have constituents: I catch a few visitors who read the blog and sometimes read my articles. Some Conservative blogs have over 100,000 readers a day, I am lucky to get over 400 readers on a particular article. But if you want to translate a few hundred readers that I might entice to read a particular article into a constituency, be my guest. Yes I do offer a wide range of topics and I experiment with format and style. Some have been abstract failures, others seem to work. I am flattered that you attach such merit to my writing; you attach way more importance to it than I do.
Now there is one problem here Tom, I don’t respond to people trying to distract or hijack a thread. You can challenge me concerning past material on the original thread, but it is a waste of space and an insult to our readers to let you babble on with your unoriginal and typical wrench in the gears diatribe of Progressive talking points unless you have something significant to contribute.
Fair enough. i have removed the paragraph in question and moved it to the appropriate thread.
Tom, you are wrong. Skookum is warning “us” about people like you. Your problem is, there are more of “us” than you.
Kansas GIrl; hi, yes that’s correct, and beside we know that TOM is from another planet.
bye
