Hedge Fund King Throws In The Towel From Obama’s Corner

Everyone Seems To Be Ticked With Obama

Especially The Man Who Broke The Bank Of England

George Soros seems to be exasperated with Democrat buffoonery and says he can no longer influence elections in the US with his billions, he maintains there is no use in “standing in front of an avalanche.” Soros, a noted financier of Liberal causes obviously isn’t interested in stuffing the Democrat coffers with his money to back an incompetent and the Democrats are feeling the pinch; perhaps Soros is like the majority of Americans and feels the campaign should be over after the election and the business of running the country is supposed to be foremost on the schedule, rather than running a never ending campaign.

Soros is the speculator’s of speculator and is known especially for Black Wednesday, (September 16, ’92), the day that is remembered as the day George Soros broke the English Pound. Soros didn’t really break the pound, but he forced the Brits to withdraw it from the European Exchange Rate Mechanism (ERM). Unfortunately, Britain tried to maintain a ratio of 2.7 Marks to the Pound while dealing with a high inflation rate.

Germany was under the strain of reunification and there was pressure on the German Mark as the core currency of the ERM. There was a drive for European Unification under the Maastricht Treaty, an agreement that was designed to install the Euro. England had to increase its interest rates to the teens to attract investors to the Pound; however the speculators, mainly George Soros, implemented heavy shorting of the Pound and Britiain began losing billions.

Britain caved and withdrew from the ERM after losing billions from trying to float its currency artificially. Soros is said to have pocketed at least a cool billion from England’s misfortune, not bad for a Socialist Ideologue. Soros is known as the premier currency speculator in the world and the foremost contributor to Leftist causes, especially those that reflect Marxism and World Governance. It’s amazing how sensitive cut throat hedge fund speculators can be after they have robbed a country of billions.

Has he lost faith in the Bumbling Marxist in the White House?

“I made an exception getting involved in 2004,” Mr. Soros, 80, said in a brief interview Friday at a forum sponsored by the Bretton Woods Committee, which promotes understanding of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.

“And since I didn’t succeed in 2004, I remained engaged in 2006 and 2008. But I’m basically not a party man. I’d just been forced into that situation by what I considered the excesses of the Bush administration.”

Mr. Soros, a champion of liberal causes, has been directing his money to groups that work on health care and the environment, rather than electoral politics. Asked if the prospect of Republican control of one or both houses of Congress concerned him, he said: “It does, because I think they are pushing the wrong policies, but I’m not in a position to stop it. I don’t believe in standing in the way of an avalanche.”

So nice of Mr Soros to concede that he isn’t going to interfere with the US election cycle, because ” I’m not in a position to stop it.” This from a man who has conceded his own God-like visions of himself: it is truly a humble deity who resists interfering in the American elections.

“A passage in his book The Alchemy of Finance, published in 1987, distinguishes Soros from all other financiers, ever. ‘I have always harboured an exaggerated view of my self-importance,’ he wrote. ‘To put it bluntly, I fancied myself as some kind of god or an economic reformer like Keynes, or, even better, like Einstein. My sense of reality was strong enough to make me realise that these expectations were excessive, and I kept them hidden as a guilty secret. This was a source of considerable unhappiness through much of my adult life. As I made my way in the world, reality came close enough to my fantasy to allow me to admit my secret, at least to myself. Needless to say, I feel much happier as a result.’”

Obama is frustrated at losing his single biggest supporter and has been blaming Republicans for his lack of funds, claiming all sorts of funding irregularities. Once again, Obama may prove to be his own worst enemy, for once investigations begin into campaign financing, he may find his own campaign under scrutiny or perhaps down the out house hole.
