Carly, a military working dog, rests under sedation as she waits to have blood drawn during a canine blood drive on Joint Base Balad, Iraq, July 3, 2010. Just like humans, this life-saving contribution can be used for another K-9 of the same blood type if needed. Carly is a security forces K-9 with the 332nd Expeditionary Security Forces Group.
