Buster is one of the few who welcome the Snowpocalypse at chez Skye:

In this dire era of global warming, I hope all Flopping Aces readers in the Northeast safely enjoy this weekend of snow. I’m hunkering in with a great lineup of movies; Dune, Garden State, Love Happens, Flyboys and a large supply of Ghiardelli chocolates.

Stay safe and have fun!

Go Colts!

UPDATE: IPCC Snowpocalypse Hottest Blizzard on Record.

“This is a molten blizzard. Period. End of story,” said Patel. “And while it has the appearance of cold, you must not be confused by deniers, clearly in the pay of large corporations.” Patel was emphatic as he urged the public to “throw away the evidence of your senses and trust the IPCC. I do.”

Yeah, we have some red hot snow outside.

That’s too funny. We have a Pekingese that looks just like Buster. Obviously, dogs love the snow.

I have a solution….have all of the 2.5 million Federal “workers’ grab their shovels and start working…this ought to have a positive effect for everybody…I would estimate this would take them 4 weeks. Cannot wait for the gridlock.

Buster is half Pomeranian and half American Eskimo who lives for the cold weather. I also own a Pomeranian as well, she’s an indoor dog that dreads the rain and snow. What a combination!

Jerry, is this the shovel ready project the Obama administration has spent billions upon?

Oh, I had a senior moment. I meant “Pomeranian”. Sorry.

Has anybody seen Algore up there in the northeast lately? Looks like some of his work

At my house in Northern VA the final count is 32″ of Global Warming!!! Funny how the Global Warming Zombies have been so quiet lately…..

SKY please dont push it north there is one coming from the west on monday bye

Muscles are burning from the red hot snow. Heavy stuff. Made an Al Gore snow angel.

Buster is such a show off!

This video of a mass snow ball fight in DC was cool:

I was still living in DC in 1996 when the last record snow fell (though this record is 10″ more). The town never looked so good in all that white. And the corrupt and incompetent Dems who run the city couldn’t remove the snow so all the government workers got a week’s paid leave.

Finally they had to call in the Army to get rid of the snow.

@savage24:

He’s got a new gig:

Beautiful dog Skye!! My Rio needs a haircut right now, been delaying it because for some reason, he’s always cold even when he looks like a little black bush. I get a kick out of his face when he’s been in the snow.

Good choice, movies and chocolate vs all that shoveling, let it melt!

Missy, I’ll let the rampant global warming melt the snow while I enjoy cinematic gems.

Mike, Buster is in his glory! He kicks up a fuss when I try to get him indoors.

@Skye: Looks like Buster gets fairly covered with snow. I imagine that the wet dog smell might encourage me to leave him outside.

I imagine Al Gore is laying low until the spring.
