UPDATE – We’re now allowing those who have donated to any of the organizations in the last 60 days to enter just by sending the receipt…don’t want to punish those who have already given.

The publisher of John Yoo’s new book, Crisis and Command: A History of Executive Power from George Washington to George W. Bush, is giving us a book to give away to a lucky reader and instead of the always used caption contest we figured a little raffle would be better. So here ya go….

For every dollar you donate to any of the below causes you get issued one electronic raffle ticket (click the picture to be taken to their donation page). Send me a copy of the receipt and you will be entered.

Skye will be pulling the winner out of a hat in a video to be put up on the blog.

Deadline is Friday, January 15th @ 6:00pm PST. Winner will be announced that weekend.

Finally, we will be doing this type of contest again in the future, if you have any good charities to use please forward them to me.

@ric: … can’t help you here, Ric. It’s a Curt and Skye thing on the date and drawing/deed bit. However if you are confusing me with the most lovely Skye visually… God bless ya! LOL

But I’d say that if Curt says it’s Friday, I’d guess Skye is doing the video deed on Friday the 15th. And don’t forget to notice the deadline is noted in Pacific time.

I’d also say get your donation in pronto….
