“If a project doesn’t support our troops, we will not fund it. If a system doesn’t perform, we will terminate it. And if Congress sends me a defense bill loaded with that kind of pork, I will veto it”
-President Obama, Aug 17, 2009, VFW speech
Another pie-crust politician’s promise, easily made, easily broken.
A former fetus, the “wordsmith from nantucket” was born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1968. Adopted at birth, wordsmith grew up a military brat. He achieved his B.A. in English from the University of California, Los Angeles (graduating in the top 97% of his class), where he also competed rings for the UCLA mens gymnastics team. The events of 9/11 woke him from his political slumber and malaise. Currently a personal trainer and gymnastics coach.
The wordsmith has never been to Nantucket.
Anybody who believes a politician’s promise deserves what he/she gets. They will say and do anything to get elected. Performance is another matter.
You can only go by what they did in the past and if they have no past they should be unelectable as we have learned to our sorrow with the present incumbent. Of course, I can say with a clear conscience (much good it does me) that I never supported this arrogant prick.
“…I can say with a clear conscience (much good it does me) that I never supported this arrogant prick.” That’s OK, he doesn’t support you – or the people that elected him, for that matter.
Joe Wilson was right! Altogether now…. “YOU LIE”!!!
Great post! Love the “lost count” line. It is nearly impossible to keep up with this man!
We count 935 lies, flip flops, broken promises and scandals from the Obama Administration so far!
Do you even do research or just use your own opinion as fact? He’s broken 19 promises and kept 113. See for yourself:

@Truth:
“opinion as fact.” That seems to be the reporters at St. Pete’s mo. Meet Bryan White, one of many Politifact fact checkers.
