@Dirty Sanchez: In Virginia 1,159,505 votes cast for McDonnel.
In New Jersey Christie got 1,132,698 votes.
You go ahead and brag about Owens in NY-23 with his 64,880 votes or Garamendi’s (CA-10) with 66,311.
I’ll take millions of votes over your tens of thousands any day.

@Dirty Sanchez:
Here is the reason for our cheer. GOP gains across the board and in many states lots of the smaller statewide offices. That is huge, especially back East where Union ties and the DNC machine usually take care of them.
Remember the dems strategy the last 8 years was to occupy Sec of State or Atty Gen positions in states so they could game the system for the DNC in contested or close races. We’ve already seen how their strategy has paid dividends in Minnesota and Ohio.
The fact that the GOP is finally fighting back and winning the smaller spots SHOULD concern the dems/libards because their “win at any cost” model will break down under proper scrutiny.
Say what you want, but if you can’t see the tide has completely turned and the momentum is again with the great conservative majority of the citizenship, then you are a partisan with blinders on.
This is no longer GOP vs DNC as much as it is a great conservative upswell of citizens that are sick and tired of Big Government and Big deficits. If the GOP doesn’t figure this out, they’ll too continue to lose…. but the GOP is the best positioned to tack towards conservative policy positions and if they can actually do this once in office instead of evoving into DC Rino’s, then we will be well served and the country will start to heal.

I think it’s going to take some work,” said Candi Schmieder, a 40-year-old resident of Marengo, Iowa, who says she still trusts the president.
But by the time she received a fund-raising letter last month from the Democratic National Committee, a sense of disappointment had set in. She returned the solicitation with a handwritten note, saying, “Until I see some progress and he lives up to his promises in Iowa, we will not give one penny.”
This website has misrepresented my quote to the New York Times. If you go the the New York Times website to view the original article, you will see my quote stops at the point where I say I still trust the president. Ms. McAreavy is the one who said she wouldn’t give any money until she sees some progress. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/11/03/us/politics/03year.html?hp
For those of you so disappointed with what the president has accomplished or not in the first 9 months of serving in office, what have you done to help improve your country today? Have you written your congress members to let them know what you support or don’t? It is going to take more than one person to change things.

Picking up 2 house seats is bad news for Obama? Wow, you guys can spin anything. Lol.
Keep up the pressure on the Socialist. Show him zero mercy.
Exactly, keep the pressure in. Now is not the time to be complacent, the pressure must stay on until 2012.
