GA Congressman Acting Stupidly

When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.Thomas Jefferson

The arrogant, elitist response of the Congressman to one of his constituents clearly demonstrates his mindset in regard to his office and the people who elected him to serve.

This sort of arrogance and “in your face” attitude is doing nothing to dissuade the opponents of ObamaCare. It only strengthens their resolve and determination.

Upon hearing of the successful attack on Pearl Harbor, Japanese Admiral Yamamoto said:

“I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant, and fill him with a terrible resolve”

I wonder if that is what Congress has done with the health care issue. Have they wakened the sleeping giant? There is only so much the American people will weather without pushing back.

Is the response we have seen to the bailouts, the stimulus, the budget, the out of control spending, and now health care an indication that we have reached that that point?

How much more can the incumbents do before the scales are tipped irrevocably against them?

How quickly will “We the People” forget the insults, the derision, and the invasions and affronts to our Liberty and Freedom?

Congressman Scott has a lot to learn about the American People.

“Men of passive tempers look somewhat lightly over the offenses of _______, and, still hoping for the best, are apt to call out, Come, we shall be friends again for all this. But examine the passions and feelings of mankind. Bring the doctrine of reconciliation to the touchstone of nature, and then tell me, whether you can hereafter love, honor and faithfully serve the power that hath carried fire and sword into your land? If you cannot do all these, then you are only decieving yourselves, and by your delay bringing ruin upon posterity. Your future connection with _______, whom you can neither love nor honor, will be forced and unnatural, and being formed only on the plan of present convenience, will in a little time fall into a relapse more wretched than the first. But if you say you can still pass the violations over, then I ask, Hath your house been burnt? Hath your property been destroyed before your face? Are your wife and children destitute of a bed to lie on, or bread to live on? Have you lost a parent or a child by their hands, and yourself the ruined and wretched survivor? If you have not, then you are not a judge of those who have. But if you have, and can still shake hands with the murderers, then you are unworthy of the name husband, father, friend or lover, and whatever may be your rank or title in life, you have the heart of a coward, and the spirit of a sycophant.”

That’s rich! He chastises the guy for “hijacking” the meeting and not asking for a healthcare meeting AFTER the guy asked for a healthcare meeting and was told the congressman was not going to have any!

When Rep. Scott spoke of ‘my constituents’, he obviously meant ‘black people’. Not that the media would call him on it…

“… have the decency to call and set up a meeting …” all just because he does not want to answer the question that was ask in an open forum. I’d say that he was caught out right and proper.

That ought to show anyone who was watching just what sort of “representation” they have. They have a petty tyrant to wants to lord it over them, not someone who is there to serve them. He need to be given the opportunity to find another job very soon.

Did anyone notice Scott began being innocently reasonable and then showed his true colors? Like “who, me?” He is a lying POS just like the majority of the congress including ALL democrats. Term limits, anhyone? Never happen with this crew. Think Obama is arrogant? Take a gander at congress.

“If you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen” – President Teddy Roosevelt

If you can’t take praise with criticism, then you can’t lead and need to go.

None of these so called “Representatives” are leaders, they are self serving hypocrites who wanted the job to gain political influence and the money that comes with it. I am sure if we locked down the pay and benefits as well as forbidding anyone in the position from doing business with anyone they have influence over most would quit.

What this shows is that we are starting to get to them, and that POS is the reason I will go to more meetings.
