Well, ever since the information dump from the White House on Friday, when we were given the results of the in house “investigation” of the flyover of Lower Manhattan by Air Force One, something tells me that just does not make sense. I have a few unanswered questions that as a taxpayer, I’d like to have answered.
Sure, we got a White house Aide’s head on a platter, and a low quality photo of Air Force One above the Statue of Liberty, pretty slim considering this Administration is touted for it’s transparency and intellect.
I also believe there are more important issues to be attending to, but this is is yet another example of the way anything inconvenient gets handled by Obama, and most noticeably, the MSM. But then, they’ve been part of the orchestrated messaging coming out of the White House.
I don’t think there is any reason to call for Congressional investigations, they can’t handle the job they have at hand, and I don’t think they would find any wrongdoing on the part of President Obama. The MSM is surely not going to investigate, nothing but fawning coverage, and anyway, some may be looking for employment in this administration.
Funny thing is, looking at the big picture, this is typical for Obama and his Administration “never let a crisis go to waste” and never take the blame for anything. They’ve done what they wanted, caught the flack, ran the damage control, come up with a lame excuse, and then tossed the ball to the compliant MSM. all that’s left for them to do is sit back and have a laugh at the conspiracy theorists and right wingers who are twisting and turning. We’ve seen this many times.
So, I want to play twenty questions with the Obama Administration, and the Investigative Journalists at the MSM. Let’s see this cleared up, so what if it’s a $380,000 joyride, let’s get the real story out there and put this behind us, you know, for the good of the Country, and the reputation of the MSM. I’m just a country boy, and part time blogger, but like Joe the plumber, I’ve got questions.
1. Is the picture released by the White House all there is? looks pretty lame, and how come there is no Exif (Exchangeable image file format) data?
2. Is the picture a photoshop? I tweaked and prodded, zoomed 800% on the photo, and I can’t tell. The declination and azimuth look about right for the sunshine and shadow on the plane, and perhaps AF1 is above the haze.
3. And while you’re zoomed in on the photo, why are there no photos or interviews with the hundreds of folks on Liberty Island or the ferry boat? tourists have cameras, and opinions.
4. We know Air Force One, (properly called VC25, when the President is not on board), buzzed Lower Manhattan at about 10:30 AM on monday, April 27, where are the flight manifests?
5. It takes a lot of support personel to make a AF1 flight happen, who was the pilot and co-pilot, flight crew, and ground crew?
6. Where is the White House paperwork and e-mails? Who signed off on the mission at Andrews Air Force Base?
7. And how about the manifests on the F16 Fighter escorts?
8. Was the F16 escort with the red tail fin following AF1 from the Air National Guard?
9. Are the only F16 fighters with red tail fins part of the 187th Fighter Wing of the Alabama Air National Guard?
10. Seeing how the F16 with the red tail fin is following in close formation with AF1, could it be in fact be part of the “photo op” mission”?
11. Could the “photo op” involve George Lucas new film “Red Tail” about the Tuskegee Airmen?
12. Could George Lucas campaign contributions have bought him access, and this mission, as “payback”?
13. Were any of the Tuskegee Airmen on board AF1 during the flyover? I think that would have been the only admirable part of the whole mission, btw.
14. And how about the White House statement of Friday referring to “approaches and landings” at Atlantic City International Airport? no curiosity? c’mon. Atlantic City?
15. Have any Investigative Journalists parachuted into Atlantic City to see what was going on that weekend? this could be news.
16. How about the logistics? between Andrews AFB (ADW), flyover Kennedy International (JFK) Newark and LaGuardia, add “approaches and landings” at Atlantic City International (ACY) and one or more F16’s, that if Alabama National Guard, are based at Montgomery Regional (MGM). and nobody saw nothing?
17. Back to the White House, it defies logic that an Aid, Louis Caldera, director of the White House Military Office, could or would put this mission together without direction from Obama, or his Senior Staff. when the President is flying, both AF1’s normally take to the air for security reasons, what if the President wanted to fly that day?
18. Wouldn’t Rahm Emanuel be the likely choice to dictate this mission?
19. Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, pressed by reporters, said he had seen news reports of the flyover, but declared: “I was working on other things. You might be surprised to know that I don’t know every movement of Air Force One.” do you believe that?
20. On Tuesday, Obama told reporters, “It was a mistake. It was something we found out about along with all of you. And it will not happen again.” do you believe all three parts of that statement, or is there a lie, carefully placed between two truths?
Ya know, I don’t so much fault the Obama Administration for putting together a photo op, joy ride, or what the Air Force provided, a secret military mission, with Air Force One and two F16 Fighters. The problem is with the panic and mayhem they caused in Lower Manhattan of all places, and the lame, non-investigation by the mainstream journalists, But most of all, the casual, condescending denials from the very folks that would make this happen.
Hope and Change, who wants to buy a bridge?

This ranks up there with so many things that the o-admin just deosn’t want us to know. Again, it is is so innocuous, why not just come clean? hey, obama – now there is an idea – how about coming clean about your birth certificate – why so much obfuscation over something that ought to be a “gimme”? I trust NOTHING this man says.

I did see a set of flight plans somewhere but no manifest.
We may learn more when the Secretary of Defense releases his review. The issue of the Alabama National Guard plane in the photos raised some special concerns for him in a letter he sent to Senator McCain.

Another interesting possibility floating ’round out in the InterWebz is the idea that this flight was done as part of a new movie which is being produced by George Lucas.

yes, and I think this is the key to the whole mission, look at questions 8 thru 13, a truthful answer from the Obama Administration, or some good investigative journalism could settle this whole matter.

Another question, -would an empty VC-25 flight normally have 2 F-16’s escorting?
The thread to pull on this story is in Alabama. The code of omerta is too well enforced in the Bamster’s WH. At the AFB in Alabama there has to be handfuls of people that know why their F-16’s were so far from home. Given distances, there had to be an inflight refueling or a ground stop for refueling. Those are other places to dig. Maybe the Pentagon as well.

no problem, and I agree with you that the red tail fin is the key to this debacle, and that the Obama Administration is taking advantage of another crisis, of their own creation, unfortunately, that Rahm Emanuel however he spells it, is an evil genius, and knows every detial of this mission from conception to execution/
Good post mickey. Inre to the Tuskegee/Red Tail film, you could almost write the ending. Had they not scared the living daylights out of the people in Manhattan with the “ahem” photo shoot, it could have become an outstanding “from then to now” ending.
Do we know if it was just a photo shoot, was it also filmed?
