When the US gets involved anywhere, Americans are labeled as arrogant, imperial, warmongering, dictatorial, and exploitive.
When the US doesn’t get involved, they burn our flags, our leaders in effigy, and dance in the streets when our cities are attacked.

The Palestinians rule the Palestinians & are responsible for the actions of Palestinians. When they are not responsible for the actions of Palestinians, then they are not sovereign (sovereignty means the rule of law in the land, and if there is no law enforcement-when the law does not rule-there is no sovereignty).

Palestinians have Gaza and the West Bank & all Israel wants in exchange is peace. Give it to em. Stop your terrorists. Stop letting them live in your buildings (which makes your buildings targets).

And this stuff about the US supporting Israel is bullshit since the US offered to support Palestine and has sent billions of our dollars to help you stop your own terrorists. Palestinians wasted American money. Israelis didn’t.

It’s a waste sending money to Gaza for reconstruction. What’s the point if it’s only going to get hit again?

The Palestinians need to work out whether they want a war with Israel and fight to get back what they consider their lands back OR accept the state of Israel and stop firing rockets over.

Having this half-arsed guerilla campaign clearly isn’t getting anywhere where Gaza is happy to take money and continue to fire rockets over to Israel. What’s the point of that? Do they expect Israelites to suddenly wake up and decide to move overseas? I guess they want to provoke Israel so why act so surprised when Israel hits back? And what’s with this proportional b.s? Is it okay for terrorists like Hamas to set the bar? So they can be as violent as they wish but Israel can only match it? Is Israel supposed to respond by firing back their own crappy rockets? How does that help?

I don’t believe body counts given by Hamas that say thousands of women, children, and elderly were killed, but no rocket-launching terrorists.

I saw the UN school footage, but I have also seen footage showing Palestinians going into school yards and launching their missiles.

The Palestinians are responsible for making sure their people do not attack Israel. If the Palestinians can’t do that then who will? Should Israel just sit back and let their people be attacked by rockets?

by the way, any argument referencing 1948 or 1967 and the creation of Israel just falls on deaf ears. Too much time has passed, and Palestinians had the chance to go back to 1948 borders (except for Jerusalem), and Yasser Arafat turned down the offer. Israel gives back land, and never gets anything in return.

Gaza was firing rockets at Israel before the borders was closed. Try stop firing the rockets then have some food.

Israel controls the borders but that doesn’t stop Hamas digging lots of tunnels now does it.

So terrorism is defined by numbers? More Germans were killed in WWII than the British. Does that make us guilty for WWII. The Germans bombed and killed thousands so we bombed them back five fold. If Hamas stopped firing rockets and killing people in their tens then Palestinians wouldn’t die in their thousands.

Hamas does not want peace with Israel, they want it gone. They know they are no match, they can’t win so they instigate and provoke and use the results as propaganda sacrificing their own people. To Hamas, their own citizens are just collateral damage.

GENEVA – The international Red Cross said Tuesday that Israel has fired white phosphorus shells in its offensive in the Gaza Strip, but has no evidence to suggest it is being used improperly or illegally.

The comments came after a human rights organization accused the Jewish state of using the incendiary agent, which ignites when it strikes the skin and burns straight through or until it is cut off from oxygen. It can cause horrific injuries.

The International Committee of the Red Cross urged Israel to exercise “extreme caution” in using the incendiary agent, which is used to illuminate targets at night or create a smoke screen for day attacks, said Peter Herby, the head of the organization’s mines-arms unit.

“In some of the strikes in Gaza it’s pretty clear that phosphorus was used,” Herby told The Associated Press. “But it’s not very unusual to use phosphorus to create smoke or illuminate a target. We have no evidence to suggest it’s being used in any other way.”

There was a cease-fire in place and working for months in Gaza, then last December Hamas declared it would end the cease-fire. They said it again the next day, and the following day, Israel and Hamas started fighting again. Hamas broke the cease-fire. It’s just that simple in my eyes.

According to an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman, Monday’s strike targeted tunnels used to smuggle weapons into Gaza from Egypt, and was retaliation for the rocket attacks earlier that day.

i don’t have doubt that there is tunnels in our border with Plastinians and Israel , but israel should first found this tunnels from it side and remove it not say that Egypt help in this tunnels !

you know that this tunnels brings drugs to Egypt too ??

so if we leave this tunnels , we will found Egypt full of bad trader ” weapons, drugs ..etc”

So tell me – why does Hamas fire rockets into Israel? Don’t women and children die (not forgetting men) by these? And what point does it serve? If Palestinians don’t want to be hit by Israel then why does it persist in firing rockets?
