Glad to know that all people survived, pics are nice. It looks like a dream when a bird lands on water after a long fly.

I read on another site that several boats in the area went at once and rescued the survivers without waiting for orders. Sometimes NYC can be cold and calous but then again they can be heros. The worst injuries was a woman had two broken legs. Amazing landing by the pilot.

Sounds like they had one of the best pilots in the world to have a disaster with.
You know the geese’s migration path was altered by the change in climate. AGW strikes again.
Another example of the indomitable American spirit… ferry boat operators and citizens running toward the accident to assist others. The pilot, crew and emergency workers did an amazing job. What a wonderful story.

Good news…you live.
Bad news….you end up in New Jersey 🙁
Well, can’t pick and choose I guess.

I wish the media would stop using the MIRACLE so frequently. Unless they are trying to put forward a particular religious point of view, they should avoid using the term MIRACLE in describing things like the water landing this week. To call it a miracle only serves to diminish the accomplishments of ALL involved with the rescue. They did it, based on their hard work and training, no one else or no other entity did it!
