For some reason, I’ve got the words, “HOPE,” and “CHANGE” stuck in my mind. It’s like I’ve heard them thousands of times over the past few years, and just can’t get em out. Meanwhile, as we are just days away from swearing in a new President-a man who made those words synonymous with himself, his campaign, and his coming administration…I’m just not seeing a lotta HOPE and CHANGE. Instead, it seems like the vices and sins of the past are resurgent.
Amid faux cries for “PEACE!” protesters in San Fran seem to have found a voice for CHANGE that’s not exactly my idea of genuinely calling for PEACE. Perhaps this is just a good example of how radical Islamic networks are operating successfully inside the United States? No, it seems to be everywhere. In Britain, Jews are apparently scared and thinking of fleeing because of the threats-err, “protests and calls for PEACE” (sorry, I forgot my 21st Century faux-progressive newspeak dictionary). In France, they’re well beyond threats, and have gone straight to attacks.
What’s the deal?
Hamas broke the cease-fire. They even had the balls to declare that they were going to break the cease-fire, and what’s more…they had the balls to declare it TWICE! I understand the outrage at civilians being killed, but Israel’s trying NOT to hit civilians while Hamas is trying TO hit civilians (and even admits to using their own people as human shields). The web is flooded w images of Hamas deliberately hiding in hospitals, in the basements of apartment buildings under several floors of civilians/shields, in schools, and so forth. What’s a country supposed to do when they’re attacked from a group of terrorists hiding in a school? Not allowed to fire back? No, of course not, but when firing back they’re obligated to be as careful as possible….and they are.
Now, when the bodies come flowing into the hospital after this or any other Israeli action…is it Israel’s fault for firing on a school, or the terrorists’ for choosing to attack Israeli civilians from a school?
The onus for civilian deaths in relation to the Gaza fighting is with Hamas-NOT with Israel which has a right and an OBLIGATION to defend itself. So, why protest against Israel and not the terrorists?
Gotta be the Jews.
“any country would find it acceptable to have missiles raining down on the heads of their citizens.”

“If somebody was sending rockets into my house where my two daughters sleep at night, I’m going to do everything in my power to stop that,” he said. “And I would expect Israelis to do the same thing.”“[it’s] very hard to negotiate with a group that is not representative of a nation state, does not recognize your right to exist, has consistently used terror as a weapon, and is deeply influenced by other countries.”

Let’s HOPE the world remembers those words and begins to CHANGE

Palestinians are such liars. The whole world is believing their bullshit. Guess they will like Obama, since he is a liar himself.
Pallywood I – According to Palestinian Sources
I have read much of the comments on your website in respect of Islam, the West, Palestine/Israel.
I struggled trying to decide whether or not to laugh at the sheer naivety or to cry because of the blatant brainwash that appears so clearly from the comments of your readers.
Let us deconstruct the whole “Islamist” stereotype, set it aside and and lets consider this:
If an illegal squatter moves in on your property (where you stay now), would you protest at the fact? Hell yeah. You’d call the cops and demand that such person be removed from your property. Now, what if the cops refuse to help you? What do you do? Simply suffer the existence of the squatter? Now, you squatter starts accruing a larger portion of your property everyday. First its the front lawn, then the garage and the backyard. So you come out and say, thats all very well and good now, but its time you stopped. Words ensue, and before you know it, the argument becomes a fist fight. But…while you donned only your fists, your opponent has a gun. In fact, he has three and he starts shooting at you. Your kids hear the commotion, and try to come to you aid. They do not have guns or knives so they pick up the first available weapon – stones – and begin pelting your opponent. He turns on them, killing them. He proceeds into your house and rapes your wife. Before you know it, you have retreated to a small room within the house and you try to defend yourself from there. He has now moved into your house and taken it for himself. Your personal belongings and everything else that you had own has been destroyed. So you call in help from a friend who smuggles you food through the bedroom window. You opponent also has help though. You old neighbour has been supplying him with weapons, supplies and everything else that he needs to keep himself on your property. Every now and then, you try and attack your opponent with a bread knife or a small pebble (its all you have – remember, he still has guns), but he comes in, shoots you in the leg and walks out again. What do you do? What do you do indeed?
In the above analogy, “you” refers to Palestine, the opponent (squatter) is Isreal and your old neighbour is USA. Now ask yourself, why do Palestinians hate the USA? Why do Palestinians hate Isreal? Its not brain science figuring that one out.
If you were to properly apply the principles of fairness and justice to the above set of facts – and extricate all bias towards Muslims in general, you would be able to come to a very reasonable conclusion. Israel must end its occupation of Palestine, and also face charges for murder, war crimes, et al. But of course, the American people don’t see it that way. Simply due to the fact that they are brainwashed by their government. I have seen the news fed to the local USA people. Did you know that its different to that shown to the International audiences? Ask yourself why? Its because the US givernment cannot fool everyone all the time.
Let justice prevail and let the truth be spoken. And may the American people awaken fro their slumber and see exactlyy the injustices perpetrated by their government in their name and in the name of peace.
The problem with your analogy is assuming only Palestinians are indigenous to the lands, Muhammed.
Global Politician does a good job in pointing out historical facts you wish to ignore.
In light of history, labeling the Jews as “squatters” is but a fantasy. I am quite sure that both Jews and Palestinians/Arabs can trace their presence in the region for generations.
Therefore, just as Israel has workable peace treaties with Egypt and Jordan, and did with the Palestinian Authority prior to Hamas’s military coup and take over in Gaza, the answer is to eliminate the Hamas obstacle to peace, and allow the agreements to continue to take fruition with the Palestinian unity government… the one that Hamas felt it necessary to desolve. Israel honored it’s side by withdrawing totally from Gaza, and uprooting Israelis who had lived there for years. Not enough for you, eh?
And how much land *will* be enough?
Hmmm, good question.
Let’s see…
OPTION A
I think I would make some rockets, fill em w shrapnel, then launch them into towns with the intent of killing as many civilians as possible, AND I would launch from my kids schoolyard so if someone tried to stop me by striking back, my kid and so many others could die for a piece of dirt that there’s no way in hell I’m gonna get back. Yeah, that’s a brilliant idea. That, and throwing rocks at people w guns then complaining when they shoot back. That’s even more brilliant.
OR
OPTION B
I could start life anew, and when other people tried to launch rockets at civilians from my backyard…I could tell em to leave so as to not turn my backyard into a laser-guided bomb magnet.
Yeah, I think I’d go w the second option here.
btw, Israel wasn’t occupying Gaza and wasn’t even attacking Gaza when this all started in December. Hamas declared it would break the cease-fire on 12/18/08, and thus the onus for restarting the cycle of violence is on their shoulders this time. Since Israel wasn’t occupying Gaza, the people in Gaza just aren’t gonna get a lotta sympathy about land disputes that are at LEAST three generations old. That’d be like Americans caring about people displaced today from Katrina, or from the TVA projects 60yrs ago. In this country…in this culture, we take lemons and make lemonade-maybe not right away, but certainly within 3 generations.
