I want to start earlt — Thank you Mr President for destroying the Republican party. Your “I’m gonna be your liberal punching bag” act was swell. I also liked the “new tone”, taking turn the other cheek to new heights thought before now to be impossible.
Glad you decided to quit while there was at least one Republican left in the Congress.
I’m sorry, bill-tb… there are “republicans” – as in the type that actually believe in fiscal responsibility and small government – sitting in Congress right now? Pray tell, who are they?
So I’m going to echo your “thanks” but saying YES! THANK YOU for destroying what was *masquerading* as the GOP. And may they finally listen to you to re’evaluate just who they are supposed to be. Their election losses are not because of the President as much as they were for their piss poor fiscal management for a decade.
I would like to ditto Mike’s comment. I respect George W. Bush for his willingness to stand on his principles, he did what he thought was right, reguardless of the personal attacks from the press and the left wing, and from the right wing, THANK YOU GEORGE W. BUSH, me and my family lived through this part of the war on terror.
