Obama Press Conference Shows Campaign Promises of Post-Partisan Politics Was a Lie

For years now Pres-Elect Obama had centered his entire campaign around a single word:
CHANGE

That word was supposed to represent the national call for a CHANGE in the way politics were conducted in Washington DC. Obama claimed it was time to CHANGE to a post-partisan politics; it was time to end the partisan bickering and sniping.

Then he was elected President, put an uber partisan hack as his Press Secretary, made a partisan thug enforcer his Chief of Staff, held a press conference, and he avoided FOX News even though that network has almost as many viewers as MSNBC and CNN combined.

Many argue that FOX is biased. It is. So is MSNBC, but President Bush talks to them. Is Pres-Obama actually going to be MORE partisan than President Bush?! Was the CHANGE theme all just one big campaign spin to get elected? Were 60,000,000 people deceived on the HOPE for CHANGE? Will Pres-Elect Obama do anything to demonstrate an appeal to the entire nation, or will he just pander to those who will voted for him and will support him without question or accountability?

It appears HOPE and CHANGE were lies as there is no substance behind them. Obama is all about the same old partisan politics…just this time in blue instead of red, and far deeper in tone.

Who Got To Ask Questions At The Obama Presser?
In order:
Nedra Pickler (AP), Lee Cowan (NBC), Jake Tapper (ABC), Chip Reid (CBS), Karen Bohan (Reuters), John McCormick (Chicago Tribune), Lynn Sweet (Chicago Sun-Times), Candy Crowley (CNN), Jeff Zeleny (New York Times).

Which network didn’t get a question? Fox News.
