The response of the Obamanics is to dismiss every such piece of evidence as a ‘smear’. They should consider this. A smear is a lie, or a gross distortion of some kind. You cannot smear someone by telling the truth. None of Obama’s revealed radical connections, deeds or words has been refuted or disproved. Given the volume of them, their consistency throughout his life and political career, the way they chime with what he himself has said and written – including his Philadelphia race speech which, when read carefully, is far more troubling than his enthusiasts have recognised – and the demonstrable lies he has told and evasions he has made about these connections and his early life, it is eminently reasonable to conclude that such information tells us something very important and alarming indeed about his character and world-view.

To believe otherwise is to be irrational. To vote on that basis is to be reckless in the extreme.

He is very risky, and that means nothing. It means nothing that we’re giving someone a chance to gamble with our future, when they’ve never played the game. It will be a world of socialist illuminati ruling.

@Ms. Know: Why not, we gave Bush a chance when he ran every business handed to him into the ground. Oh, actually we didn’t give him the chance, he stole it. So much for democracy.

Can you clarify your assertions, voter? It’s sounding a bit like moonbattery.

@Wordsmith: I would love to.

And I don’t think I need to get into the whole Florida thing, we all know what happened there, right?

@voter:

First, you’re not really going to put out some Internet wacko site as a reliable source now are you?

Surely not.

You’ve been here long enough to know that we’re a tougher crowd than that.

Care to try again?

****

Second, yes, we know exactly what happened in Florida.

Al Gore pitched a temper tantrum when things didn’t go his way. He wanted to recount all of the counties which were heavily Dem areas and not recount the remainder of the state.

He also didn’t want to count all US military absentee ballots from overseas.

Thankfully the law was enforced and the Sore/Loserman ticket didn’t get away with stealing the election from the people who actually won it.

Bonus question for you Erika: How many media organizations recounted the ballots in Florida and which candidate won all of those recounts?

The 2000 Election is not really a scab you want to scratch off Erika.

It won’t go well for you.

Oh, Erika, Erika….I knew it smelled like full moonbat talk.

You don’t really believe that 2000 was a stolen election and that President Bush is a selected, not elected president, do you?

I most definitely believe that Bush stole the election. Katherine Harris pulled out every trick she had up her sleeve, to make sure the recount couldn’t happen, or wouldn’t happen in the time frame allotted.

Aye, do you believe that all Americans that have committed no crimes, have a right to have their vote count? All Gore wanted was, to count the votes they weren’t counting, because of the “dimples”. When you pick and choose the votes that you count, then you are saying that all votes don’t count. It just so happened it was in mostly DEM counties. Those people had a right to have their voice heard through their vote just as much as you do. Republicans did ANYTHING they could to prevent those voices to be heard, and unfortunately they suceeded.

The 2000 election was stolen and MOST people know it.

When you link a page, why does it count more than one someone else links? The link I provided, has all the information on Bush’s business ventures, as well as some other info. Just because you don’t like what it says, doesn’t mean its not true.

Erika (aka voter… better? :0)

I don’t know what to say to you about 2000. I am in Oregon with a mail in ballot system. And in this state, just like in any other state, if my ballot is not “filled out properly”, my vote doesn’t count.

This means if I use the wrong color ink, don’t sign it, don’t property fill in the oval, my vote doesn’t count. Period.

Now relate this to a hanging chad, or other “wrong chads” because they “didn’t understand the butterfly ballot”… a ballot designed by the DNC leadership there, BTW.

FIRST: A media recount was done, and Bush STILL won. Of course that was buried on the back pages of media. It was just an exercise that wouldn’t have changed the election results. However, despite their best efforts, Bush still won. That’s the first point.

SECOND: Now, would you like to explain to me, here in Oregon, that if I don’t fill out a ballot correctly, why the Floridians should get a pass when no other state does? Or is it only because your guy lost that you care?

Do you care about the ACORN fraud now? Or will you only care if McCain wins?

That idea that “most” people know it are people that only don’t want to read that the unofficial media review showed that Bush still won, and they are still disgruntled that Florida voters who couldn’t figure out how to use a ballot… which makes me wonder if that same mentality could understand the issues… didn’t get special privileges.

The whole concept is not only partisan, but highly discriminatory to the rest of the nation.

@voter:

Erika,

There is not one shred of independent evidence that any votes were stolen in FL-2000.

There is not one shred of evidence that anyone was denied their right to vote.

Not one shred.

We see all these anecdotal stories on the Internet about all the horrible things that supposedly happened but not one of those stories is backed up in reality. Not one.

Lots and lots of urban legends and Internet conspiracy theories, but nothing based in reality.

When you pick and choose the votes that you count, then you are saying that all votes don’t count.

Yes, I do believe that all eligible, legally cast votes should count. Do you? Do you think it was right for Gore’s pal, the Florida Attorney General, to toss out military ballots from servicemen and women overseas? Do you? That’s what happened you know. It took a court order to make those votes count.

What kind of American relies on the military to put their lives on the line and shed their blood for the country and then try and deny those people the most basic right we Americans enjoy?

Those people had a right to have their voice heard through their vote just as much as you do.

If that’s true then why did Gore oppose having all military ballots counted?

It just so happened it was in mostly DEM counties.

Gore wanted to recount ONLY the heavily Dem counties where it would benefit him most. He didn’t want to recount the entire state. He didn’t want to recount the heavily Rep counties. I guess those votes didn’t matter as much to him.

Republicans did ANYTHING they could to prevent those voices to be heard

The Republicans actually fought to have then ENTIRE state recounted but that’s not what Gore wanted. Now, why would Gore refuse to allow the remainder of the state to be counted? Didn’t he want a fair and accurate count of all of the votes?

As I said to you in my post above there were multiple recounts done after the election by media organizations from all over this country. Each and every one of those recounts proved that Bush was the winner. Every one.

What’s funny to me is that you’ve got yourself in a twist over every vote counting which is great but at the same time you are a proud member of the party who truly deprived the citizens of FL and MI the right to have their votes counted during the primaries. Remember how those states only got half the delegates for the DNC?

I seem to recall a time in our nations’ history when certain individuals were counted as 3/5 of a person. Now, the Dems have created 1/2 voting.

The same party that you’re so proud of and so eager to defend is also the party who gave the nomination for POTUS to the person who DIDN’T get the most votes.

Then there’s ACORN and the thousands of fraudulent registrations in multiple states across the country. The fraud that ACORN has attempted is systemic and widespread. I can present you with multiple examples of PROVEN voter registration fraud. I can present you with examples of people who were registered, and voted, in places where they were not residents. I can show you examples of people who voted more than once. One of these was an Obama staffer.

Either you’re outraged over every eligible vote counting, and every eligible voter being counted once, or you’re not.

You cannot have it both ways.

When you link a page, why does it count more than one someone else links? The link I provided, has all the information on Bush’s business ventures, as well as some other info.

When I link a source you can bet your bottom dollar it won’t be a site that is promoting 9/11 trutherism and other BS. So, yes, some links are better than others.

Just because you don’t like what it says, doesn’t mean its not true.

I’m so glad you said that.

I’m going to tuck that little nugget away for future use.

In fact, I think that it could easily be applied to all of your responses to the Khalidi tape as well as your response to multiple other threads.

Erika,

This is all I’ll say, and all I really should need to say on the matter. 2000 was so yesteryear.

This is the kind of divisiveness that continues to tear our country apart. It requires a willing suspension of objectivity to believe that 2000 was a “stolen election”. Idiots who sport bumperstickers that read “he’s not my president” is what’s wrong with the partisan divide in this country.

http://www.secstateproject.org/

Has anyone here heard of the Secretary Of State Project? This Move-On crowd supported groups purpose is to get Dems elected into SoS positions. This year they are 4 for 4. Here in Minnestota they Got Mark Ritchie elected several years ago and we’re now paying the price. Not only is Al Franken getting Ritchie’s help by counting things such as the ‘Car Trunk Votes’ there is a state voter intent law. Under this law, if a ballot is marked for Obama and there is no vote for US Senate candidate, the ballot will be counted for Franken, the Dem candidate.

The Dems are building VERY strong foundations for controlling elections from here on out.
