Sources: Sarkozy views Obama stance on Iran as ‘utterly immature’
French President Nicolas Sarkozy is very critical of U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama’s positions on Iran, according to reports that have reached Israel’s government.
Sarkozy has made his criticisms only in closed forums in France. But according to a senior Israeli government source, the reports reaching Israel indicate that Sarkozy views the Democratic candidate’s stance on Iran as “utterly immature” and comprised of “formulations empty of all content.”
Frank Gaffney is so right. Weakness invites agression.
Guy Millière, my favourite French author said: “La faiblesse érigée en doctrine constitue toujours, pour les détenteurs de la force brutale, une invitation à agir.”
Just look at all the battered women, they are powerless, weak and frighten. But a woman that stands strong, defends herself and calls the police will have a better chance not to be aggressed anymore by her husband. The same goes for a country.

Give a priest a gun, and you know you’re not gonna be shot by that gun. He’s committed to doing everything he can to make sure it’s not fired at someone.
Give an Islamic terrorist a gun, and you can damn well bet that if there’s a camera around, and you’re as good as shot.
Give a Democrat a gun, and while he’s deciding how to use it in the least deadly way…bad guys always get away.
Give a former Vietnam war hero, decorated fighter/bomber pilot a gun, and you can damn well bet that when the time comes, he’s gonna put one down the pickle barrel even if he’s dropping from 5 miles in the sky at 700miles and hour.
Deterrence relies not on the presence of weapons, but on leaders who convince foes they are willing to use them. If foes think the leader is gonna have deer fever, then deterrence is dead.
