MIRANSHAH, Pakistan (Reuters) – A U.S. pilotless drone fired two missiles at a house in northwest Pakistan killing five people, Pakistani intelligence agency officials said Wednesday.

Frustrated by an intensifying Taliban insurgency in Afghanistan, U.S. forces have in the past month carried out seven missile strikes by pilotless drones and a commando raid on the Pakistani side of the border.

In the latest attack, a drone fired two missiles at a house near the town of Mir Ali in North Waziristan, at about midnight Tuesday (1800 GMT), two intelligence agency officials said.

YES! YES! High 5 to my Air Force buds.

That’s what those nasty Taliban cowards deserved. Guess what Osama? SURPRISE! Using tribal Pakistan areas is not going to save your grimey butt. Even with the protection of corrupt Pakistani officials looking the other way while swearing they are doing everything in their power to help NATO find you.

We tried going after them with troops and Pakistani military shot at them. We tried having our helicopters patrol along the Afganistan border and they shot across the border at those too.

What they didn’t count on is American technology and military ingenuity; UAV’s aren’t just for taking pictures (chuckle). A Jack-in-the-box just opened up and said, “Pop! Goes the weasels”. I love it. It would be even better news if we were told the house hit was one bin Laden has been lounging in. That would truely be a REAL “October Surprise”.
