Obama’s Ego Grows Larger

We all knew this day would come. How could it not? With the MSM fawning over him like he is their savior and kids barely old enough to vote making videos of their love for him it was just a matter of time before Barack Obama started believing the hype:

In his closed door meeting with House Democrats this evening, presumptive Democratic nominee Barack Obama delivered a real zinger. According to a witness, he was waxing lyrical about last week’s trip to Europe, when he concluded, “this is the moment, as Nancy [Pelosi] noted, that the world is waiting for.”

The 200,000 souls who thronged to his speech in Berlin came not just for him, he told the enthralled audience of congressional representatives.

“I have become a symbol of the possibility of America returning to our best traditions,” he said.

Oh boy. What did that prayer of his say again?

“Help me guard against pride……”

This messianic rhetoric matches his recently released ad in which he says “We are a beacon of light around the world. At least that’s what we can be again. That’s what we should be again.” Pretty much saying we are not a beacon of light NOW! (Tell that to the Iraqi’s who know have freedom from tyranny) but when he gets into power his greatness will bring back that beacon of light.
