New details have been released about those two Middle Eastern men who were caught with explosives driving near a Navy base in South Carolina. This time its about what was on that video Ahmed Mohamed made and was found on his laptop in the car they were stopped in:
Instead of carrying out “martyrdom operations,” people can use remote explosives and save themselves for the real battles, an Egyptian student said on a homemade video, according to federal prosecutors.
A court filing released earlier this week provided new details about the video, which is a key piece of evidence in the case against University of South Florida student Ahmed Abdellatif Sherif Mohamed, who faces federal explosive charges after his arrest in August.
~~~Also on Mohamed’s laptop — in a folder labeled “Bomb Shock” — were files about ingredients for explosives, according to the filing by Assistant United States Attorney Jay Hoffer in Tampa.
In addition, the laptop was used to upload the video onto YouTube, the filing said, and it contained a record of an e-mail sent to YouTube in July asking why the submitted video hadn’t been posted on the Web site.
Mohamed said he made the video “to assist those persons in Arabic countries to defend themselves against the infidels invading their countries,” the FBI said. He said “he considered American troops, and those military forces fighting with the American military, to be invaders of Arab countries.”
It’s obvious these two were up to no good traveling with an explosive device (yes, it was a small device but that matters not) as they drove by a Navy base that is a nuclear training center. To think the first reaction from the lefties on my earlier posts was to call them fireworks enthusiasts.
Anything to excuse those who hate this country and want it destroyed.
I wonder how much evidence there has to be before we can no longer be accused of “profiling”, “false accusations”, “racism” (how is Islam a ‘race’ anyways?), and much worse by the left?
Yet if this duo has accomplished their attack, then the left would be up in arms about “Bush failing to protect us”.
The cognitive dissonance of the left is staggering.
