Chris Dodd took some time away from defending KOS to post at the Huffington Post about the fact that the mastermind of 9/11, Khalid Sheik Mohammed, has the moral high ground now:
Compare that case [the Moussaoui trial] to the case of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed,
who organized the attacks of 9/11. He was held in a secret prison, where he
claims he was tortured severely. Whether he is lying or not, by our actions we
have allowed Khalid Mohammed to claim the moral high ground. Khalid Mohammed
plays martyr to a world that is inclined to believe it.
What a stunningly ignorant statement. A perfect example of liberal moral equivalency wrapped in a layer of fecal matter.

He masterminded Operation Bojinka, which was intended to kill hundreds of
innocent people who were doing nothing more than flying on airplanes. And KSM
masterminded 9-11, the wanton killing of nearly 3,000 innocents in an unprovoked
act of war on our country. Based on his long career as a terrorist bent on
killing as many kuffirs as he can, Khalid Sheik Mohammed can’t claim the moral
high ground from the devil himself, much less the United States of America. KSM
is filth in human form. And Dodd is taking his side.
Later in the comment section Bryan added:
KSM is not entitled to claim any moral high ground. If anyone out there makes
that claim for him, it’s incumbent on officers of our nation like Dodd to
correct them. He should point out that KSM is both a mass murderer and a trained
and skilled liar. He should point out that anyone carrying water for the likes
of KSM is either a fool or an enemy. He should not use the claims of KSM to base
any argument on any policy at any time.
I agree completely with Bryan here but would remind him that these are Democrats we’re talking about here. We have come to expect this kind of behavior from that party. A party that will compare our troops to terrorists and nazi’s, proclaim them murderers before a trial. Or even better, announce to the world that we have lost the war when there is still plenty of fighting going on. We expect nothing less from these kind of human beings.
But now we have to deal with those in our own party who will punish this country (if they don’t get the nominee they demand) with 4 years of this kind of idiocy running the Country.
A party with the likes of Dodd, Murtha, Durbin, Clinton, & Reid running this country!

Leaders of the party that has murdered over 50 million babies running the country. How soon will they start murdering the elderly? Why would I ask that, I’m over 65?
When the nation can’t afford to pay social security, medicare, and other expenses for the elderly AND when the elderly cannot pay increased taxes, then the left will simply increase the death tax, and cut the funds that will keep the elderly alive. It won’t happen immediately, but it will as soon as most of the baby boomers are too old to get out and vote (80’s, 90’s; 15-20yrs from now). And mass euthanasia won’t come in the form of needles or gas chambers, but in empty mailboxes where govt subsidized drugs once arrived as well as social security checks for food, rent, etc.
Sad, but fact is they’d rather have pork spending than fix medicare, medicaid, social security, the IRS, the tax code etc. Average passed bill lately is 50-65% pork & still no effort to fix medicare, medicaid, social security, the IRS, the tax code etc.
I’m over 65 also and another Clinton presidency scares the beejeebers out of me too. I’d also like to say that I am sick and tired of politically correctness. If the Republicans tell it like it is they should win easily.
Of course KSM can claim the moral high ground, the main stream media is making sure of that.
What Dodd should be upset about is not that KSM can claim the “moral high ground” (whatever good THAT is), but that the TRUTH is being distorted in order to ALLOW any credibility to the claim in the first place.
Hairsplitting I know, but it matters whether Dodd was using ‘claim’ in the sense of ‘take possession of’ (in which case he is indeed full of it), or in the sense of ‘aver or state’, in which case he’s just pointing out that KSM can use our treatment of him for propaganda purposes.
The terrorists that flew the planes into the twin towers had the moral high ground on Dodd, and were more intelligent. I’ve always wanted to see someone smash that pompus ass in the face with a baseball bat and then scalp him.

I love it how they use words “we” and “ours” while the only thing THEY do is trashing the military, trashing the administration, encouraging muslims to run for offices, wishing victory for insurgents in Iraq and defeat for “us” (Moore), siding with CAIR-like organizations and individuals, giving voice to jihadists and their idiotic propaganda and everything else to sabotage “our” actions.
