We made it from Las Vegas in a little under four hours to find smoky skies and fires all around us.
You know your having a good vacation, unwinding and unpluging, when you don’t even know that a major catastrophe is occurring in your neck of the woods until someone brings it up to you days after it started.
We had just found out about these fires in So. California yesterday and were a bit worried that we wouldn’t even be able to get back due to road closures (being stuck in Vegas…hurt me) but it went smoothly, driving along watching the eerie smoke billows and the orange sun.
Anyways, I’m back to rant away. Appreciate everyone’s birthday wishes and and a big thank you to Skye for her awesome video.
