So Obama opened his trap once again and proved once more why he is nothing but a nice guy with no substance. I get the feeling as time goes on that I’ve seen this film before. You know the one where some powerful folks get a patsy to run for President while they tell him what to do. I mean, this is the only reason I can see that this guy has risen to the point where he is at. He spouts stuff that a grade schooler could recognize is just plain wrong and still manages to have retarded fanboi videos made for him.
What Obama is alleging here is a war crime. That we don’t fight fair, instead we just bomb anything and everything….civilians be damned. The same kind of crap Kerry alleged, the same kind of crap Murtha alleged, and the same kind of crap that was alleged against our troops in Vietnam.
No matter how much the left wish to make our troops out to be some mindless bloodthirsty robots the fact remains that our military and their leadership are some of the most professional we’ve seen in a long time. We don’t simply "air raid villages and kill civilians." There will always be collateral damage in war, I don’t care how technologically sophisticated our society becomes, it is still run by humans and humans are not infallible. But this guy, and Kerry and Murtha, all make it sound like our troops are taking the path of least resistance by just bombing everyone to smithereens.

How about seeing whether ground forces have been deployed in Afghanistan? That seems to be a rather good indicator as to whether the strategy solely relies on dropping bombs indiscriminately on civilians — and as it turns out, the data is easy to find. The Congressional Research Office did a breakout of deployed American forces in Afghanistan. It shows that of the roughly 22,000 American troops in the country, only 3100 come from the Air Force. Over 17,000 come from the Army. You know — ground troops.
All sound like ground troops are there doing what they do best right? The Taliban use human shields as they attack our forces which in turn gets the Taliban and the civilians killed….not the fault of the United States. It’s the fault of the Taliban, you know, the enemy.
Not so to Obama, Kerry, and Murtha, and of course not so to the AP who were superfast to Obama’s rescue:
A check of the facts shows that Western forces have been killing civilians at a faster rate than the insurgents have been killing civilians.
The U.S. and NATO say they don’t have civilian casualty figures, but The Associated Press has been keeping count based on figures from Afghan and international officials. Tracking civilian deaths is a difficult task because they often occur in remote and dangerous areas that are difficult to reach and verify.
The difference being that we do not intentionally kill civilians. We do our best to prevent it. But to these fools our troops are right out of the pages of a Scott Thomas Beauchamp novel.
