Rush is playing some sound bites that are quite interesting. Like many of you I heard Hillary say the following over the weekend.
But lets look at what she said on March 7th, 2003 (before the Iraq War started) while she was talking to members of Code Pink:
Hmmm, so over the weekend she says Bush tricked her and misused her vote but in 2003 she told a crowd of anti-war loonies that she has been involved in this situation for over 10 years, does a lot of homework and believes there is no one to blame for all this except Saddam Hussein. She even says she voted for the resolution after careful deliberation over the intelligence and talking to people whom she trusted.
But now Bush tricked her. She didn’t think it was for pre-emptive war.
Rush then played this other segment from the same discussion with Code Pink:
You get that? We may have to go it alone. If the world doesn’t agree with you then forget diplomacy. Go in and get it done since we are the only ones who can get the job done.
But last October she said this on her website:
This Administration’s choices were false choices. Internationalism versus unilateralism. Realism versus idealism. Is there really any argument that America must remain a preeminent leader for peace and freedom, and yet we must be more willing to work in concert with other nations and international institutions to reach common goals?
So which is it?
Saddam was evil and needed to be dealt with, alone if we have to, or should we have negotiated with Saddam and the rest of the world for another 13 years?
She’s a winner huh?

Hi Curt,
I know I haven’t been here to comment in awhile. For some reason, Typekey won’t let me stay logged in. Pretty maddening actually. Any suggestions?
I heard all that garbage that Hillary was spouting to her liberal friends. Did you also hear what her campaign aides are saying to all those “stars” in Hollywood who are now throwing parties and giving huge contributions to Obama? They’re saying that they have a long memory and it will not go unpunished when Hillary is crowned!!! I kid you not! Nice touch Hillary, or should I say Don Corleone.
Carol
I am hoping that this keeps me logged in.
Hey Carol, typekey automatically logs you out after awhile. Don’t think there is anything to do about it except to log back in. Sorry bout that but it keeps “most” of the trolls out.
Doesn’t surprise me one bit that Hillary has the Don Corleone complex, she is the chosen one right?
What a complete waste of oxygen this women is.
Hillary is supposed to be the smartest woman in America. She knows how to handle “evil and bad men.”
Yet she was hoodwinked by Bush and clueless that her own husband was getting it on with other women all over the place.
So how would she handle Iranians lying about nukes and Arabs lying about everything?
Interesting that you posted this, Curt. I was thinking about writing my next guest blog on the subject. I caught Mrs. Clinton on a morning talk show, spouting the same “I would have voted differently had I not been misled” trial balloon…and I have decided to pop it.
Mr. Clinton, Madelaine Albright, William Cohen and Sandy Berger are on the record, in fact the record is replete with their comments about Saddam Hussein being a threat that had to be removed.
If Mrs. Clinton was “fooled” into voting to support taking out Saddam…then someone is going to have to come forward and explain how that information was substantively different from what the Clinton administration had been putting forward.
I can tell you now…it wasn’t. This is simply the leftists and their “principles of convenience” at work.
As for Hollywood and their fund raising parties…I see that America Ferraro from Ugly Betty won a SAG award. Has to be the first time in 50 years that Hollywood was actually rooting for America to win anything.
St. Hillary it seems can not come up with an original idea. First she tries to play off her gaffe that pointed to her philandering husband as a joke. Sen. Kerry tried that, did not work.
As for the tricked by Bush excuse. Let me get this straight oh St. Hillary the Welterweight. That stupid man George Bush, who is manipulated by Karl Rove, was smart enough to dupe you into voting Yes? If you are that much a fool, why the hades should anyone vote for you as President? BTW, John Kerry tried that line in his failed 2004 run for President. Look where it got him.
Hillary is trying to triangulate like Bill. At least Bill seemed like a Bubba. Hillary comes off as Lady MacBeth.
