If this doesn’t prove to you the utter disdain and hatred for our Country that the left has, then nothing will:
That’s right. Howard Dean, the head of the DNC, is holding up Code Pink t-shirts. The same Code Pink that aided and abetted the terrorists in Fallujah that were killing our soldiers.
American citizen Medea Benjamin, a leader of the anti-American group Code Pink, announced in Amman, Jordan this week that Code Pink, it’s parent group Global Exchange and Families for Peace have donated $600,000 in aid to the ‘other side’ in the terrorist haven city of Fallujah in Iraq.
This news, which has been ignored by the media worldwide, was reported by Agence France Press but was picked up by only two small news outlets:
“I don’t know of any other case in history in which the parents of fallen soldiers collected medicine … for the families of the ‘other side’,” said Medea Benjamin, the founding director of Global Exchange, a human rights group.
“It is a reflection of a growing movement in the United States … opposed to the unjust nature of this war,” she said.
“This is the positive face of the American people which we would like to show … so that we are not looked at with animosity but with love. Our hearts go out to the people of Fallujah and to all the Iraqi people,” she said.
Medea Benjamin and those working with her, opposed the liberation of the people of Iraq from the brutal reign of Saddam Hussein. They call themselves human rights activists, yet they support the worst human rights violators in the world from Fidel Castro to the terrorists in Fallujah.
With American troops in harm’s way in Fallujah, Medea Benjamin’s proud admission that she and her cohorts are giving aid to the ‘other side’ should be grounds for her arrest for treason.
Code Pink along with their anti-American friends International ANSWER–whose leader Ramsey Clark is one of Saddam Hussein’s defense lawyers–will be protesting President Bush at his Inaugural Parade on January 20, using permits issued by the U.S. government.
What’s even more sickening is the fact that he is wearing a Stars and Stripes pin on his lapel. What an assclown.
Want some more? Here is his statement today:
Democratic Chairman Howard Dean on Monday likened the war in Iraq to Vietnam and said, “The idea that the United States is going to win the war in Iraq is just plain wrong,” comments that drew immediate fire from Republicans.
I just have to wonder why he would say this 10 days before Iraqi elections? We all know why. He, along with his Code Pink buddies, want the US and a Democratic Iraq defeated. How else could they blame Bush. Doesn’t matter if these Defeaticrats (shamelessly stolen from Mike’s America) are destroying the morale of our troops.
You take Dean’s recent antics and then read about John Kerry’s recent statement that our troops are terrorizing Iraqi’s and you have to shake your head. Do these people not see how treasonous this is? But how dare you question their patriotism
Here is the transcript of the Kerry interview from CBS.
Sen. Kerry: You’ve got to begin to transfer authority to the Iraqis. And there is no reason, Bob, that young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children, you know, women, breaking sort of the customs of the–of–the historical customs, religious customs. Whether you like it or not…
SCHIEFFER: Yeah.
Sen. KERRY: …Iraqis should be doing that.
Ok, you catch that. He say’s that our soldiers shouldn’t be terrorizing Iraqi’s but the Iraqi’s themselves should be doing it. Um…some more kool aid FlipFlopper?
Treason is as Treason does.
My last parting thought isn’t really a thought but actually a plug for this recent comment made on Free Republic :
Last Friday night outside Walter Reed… an older black man walked up the sidewalk as we were setting up our signs. He was looking at them as he walked, and he said to me, “Where were you during Vietnam? I served over there, and nobody did this for us. We needed something like this then.”
I responded first with an apology for the way he was treated back then, and I thanked him for serving and said, “Welcome home.” There was no point in explaining that I was just a kid when he was serving, he wasn’t asking me personally – he wanted to know why AMERICA didn’t speak out in support of him back then. Anyway, he continued up the street without further comment. So many of our vets remain hurt to this day from the treatment they were subjected to back then.
We can’t let these enemies on our soil defeat our soldiers again. Dean, Kerry, Code Pink, ANSWER, and their ilk HAVE to be defeated.

Well done. VERY well done. I cannot wait until the day when we can hang traitors.Absolutely! I have ample rope for you all, seditious traitors, just waiting. Anyday now. Can’t wait.
Politic’s as usual Reverse. But how dare you question their patriotism while they commit treason.
Thanks for blogging about this. It’s amazing that more Americans aren’t outraged about behavior like this. And calling it for what it is: treason. But Democrats have all kinds of clever ways of dismissing behavior like this. And Republicans all too often lack the spine to hold them accountable. There’s no money in it, so the press stays silent, too.
Thanks for keeping the faith.
Well said, Curt. I also had something to say about both Dean and Kerry over at my place. It sickens me to no end. I’m going to be stationed in DC in about 3 more weeks and plan on helping Free Republic when I get there.
This country deserves better than the kind of leaders we have right now.
Well done. VERY well done. I cannot wait until the day when we can hang traitors. Posted about this on my blog as well – had issues with trackback.
Just wanted to thank you for a very well-written post.
