New Computer

To my regular readers I apologize about the slow postings, or no postings actually. Got home today from work and spent the last 5 hours building my new computer. For those computer nerds out there here are the specifics:

Linkworld 3210-04-C2628 Black/Silver Metal ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

ASUS A8N-E Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra ATX AMD Motherboard

AMD Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego 1GHz FSB 1MB L2 Cache Socket 939 Processor

ZALMAN CNPS7700-CU 120mm 2 Ball Cooling Fan with Copper Heatsink

CORSAIR XMS 1GB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400 (PC 3200) System Memory

Antec TRUEPOWERII TPII-550 550W Power Supply

eVGA Geforce 6800GS 256-P2-N386 Video Card

I used my old harddrives which are a

Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 120GB 3.5″ IDE Ultra ATA100 Hard Drive
– Main drive
Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 200 GB Hard Drive – Slave drive

Plus my old cd/dvd player:

Pioneer (DVR-108) DVD?RW Dual Layer Burner

And it’s screaming fast.

I’ll be back posting my rants soon.
