Crips Founder Loses Once Again

Another tip of the hat to the Supreme Court for making sure this scumbag spends the rest of his life in prison:

The Supreme Court refused Tuesday to take up the case of California death row inmate Stanley “Tookie” Williams, a founder of the Crips street gang whose later work for peace won him a Nobel Peace Prize nomination.

Williams, who has been praised for his children’s books and efforts to curtail youth gang violence, claims that prosecutors violated his rights when they dismissed all potential black jurors.

California attorneys said that Williams did not contest the makeup of the jury at trial and that it’s too late to do so now.

Williams was sentenced to death in 1981 for killing a convenience store worker and also was convicted of killing three other people. He claims jailhouse informants fabricated testimony that he confessed.

Let me think here, which one of his accomplishments have had more effect on society….his childrens books or his street gang who have terrorized, murdered, and dealt drugs for 30 years?

This guy can rot away in jail for the rest of his life and write those books but in no way should he ever see the light of day.

Pierced – you are really beyond hope. He was judged by a jury of his peers and the evidence against him is and was overwhelming. Does it make you feel better about yourself to blame everything on race? Your a sad man.

Lil Soja – it’s the past? Tell that to the families of the victims.

Wow, you sound like a badass gangsta using those terms….impressive, plus it just proves my point. People such as yourself have no one to blame for your woes other then yourself. Based on your writing I bet you never even completed high school right?

i think yall r preety wrong for thinkin ita a game and makin all this a joke and lil pictures of all this. its not a game to be played with,so why r u playin??Yes i will admit hes wrong for what he has done but its the past and we cant take it back or bring the lives back.its all too the good thogh all of you who have come up with these little “funny” pictures i believe if your evr caught out slippin alone you will get yours.

He’s dead now, but what if we find out monts down the road that he was innocent. Then what. This happes more often than you think. Innocent people being executed and later finding exonorative evidence after the fact. Yes he started the Crips, but how many stories of so- called great men who have been redeemed. Men and women who have done God knows what and now are considered great. To hold Tookie responsible for murder is the issue, but not for his association of even starting the crips. This case and the evidence was presented in a possible falacious manner. It’s called the genetic fallacy. Because he is black or an ex- gang member has nothing to do with the issues at hand here. I understand that we should look for pattern, but those patterns have to specifically lead up to the evidence other wise your stance is semi- biased.
