Election Conspiracies

Ever since Nov 3rd we all have heard the conspiracies from the lefty’s that the red states stole the election….My favorite of the last week or so was Keith Olbermann’s assertion on MSNBC that 5 counties in Florida, specifically Baker, Dixie, Holmes, Lafayette and Liberty, had voted Republican 64 to 78 percent when a majority of those voters were registered Democrats! How can this be!

Well, all these same counties voted overwhelmingly Republican in 2000, and 1988 when Sr. ran but only 2% of those counties had been registered as Republican. How do you explain this? As Howard Troxler put it so well, they are “Dixiecrats”, where being a registered democrat but voting republican is a common occurance.

That’s just one of the lefty conspiracy theories out there, we all knew they would whine and complain so I will try to report as many of their silly assertions on this site as I can.

But when it comes down to it, Bush won the popular vote by over 3.9 mllion votes. That hasn’t been done since 1988, the leftist hero Bill Clinton didn’t win the popular vote in either of his elections.

43% in 1992 and 49.2% in 1996

How much whining did we hear about Bush Jr. not getting the popular vote in 2000? But now he has it, and a mandate.
