Joy Behar, on The View, discussing the Dream Act and making some illegal immigrants legal: “But what about the kids who were born here?”
Marco Rubio: “Well, the kids who are born here are U.S. citizens.” Maybe it is just me, but I laughed when I heard this.
New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who recently banned larger than 16 oz. sodas in New York City: “if government’s purpose isn’t to improve the health and longevity of its citizens, I don’t know what its purpose is.” Classify this under, “I earned my nickname, Nanny Bloomberg.”
Jay Carney: “The President…spends a relatively small amount of time campaigning.”
Senate majority leader Harry Reid: “In spite of the conservative obstructionism, we’ve been able to get a lot of good things done. [According to congressional scholar Norman] Ornstein said it was the most productive Congress in the last 75 years.”
President Barack Obama, for about the 100th time: “This jobs bill is fully paid for. This jobs bill contains the kinds of proposals that Democrats and Republicans have supported in the past. And now, I want it back. It is time for Congress to get its act together and pass this jobs bill so I can sign it into law.”
Obama on Black unemployment being nearly double the national average at 16.7 percent: “It gets folks discouraged. I know. I listen to some of y’all,”

Because the only class warfare I’ve seen is the battle that’s been waged against the middle class in this country for a decade.”
In Dickens’ Oliver Twist, Mr. Bumble is told “the law supposes that your wife acts under your direction”. To that Bumble replies “If the law supposes that, the law is a ass—a idiot.”
The press is also a ass. Specifically, the NY Times, WaPo, the LA Times and mostly, Politico.
In a previous post Politico was shown as conducting a vendetta against Sarah Palin and along with much of the media continues the baseless bashing of Palin. It is as though Politico, TPM and the phonies at WaPo get wee-wee’d up any time Palin lands a right cross on Barack Obama. They then have editorial hissyfits in retribution for anyone daring to besmirch their leader.
And Politico effectively joins Barack Obama’s re-election campaign.
Politico’s increasingly leftward lean has finally caused it to fall over entirely. The sheer volume of anti-Palin stories over the last week was breathtaking. It’s clear that they have targeted Palin.
To wit:
