House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi of Republicans who criticize President Obama‘s support for the failed solar firm Solyndra: “[Republicans are] the ones who say they’re risk takers. Now, all of a sudden, they’re saying, `Don’t take risks.’ ”
Obama Deputy Campaign Manager Stephanie Cutter defended President Obama‘s investment in green energy companies like Solyndra: “The president was making investments for the country, because he’s not going to cede an entire industry to China and India.
