The reasons for Barack Obama’s intervention in Libya has never been really clear- or honest. The most commonly offered explanation given for bombing Libya has been the prevention of a humanitarian disaster. Sunday morning, Obama’s Abbott and Costello foreign policy team said that Libya was a direct threat to US national interest and at the same time that it was not. Of course, that does not explain why we interfere in Libya but not in other regions in which human rights are being oppressed- like North Korea, Iran or China. Continue reading

“The Fast and the Furious” was a gun-running program that allowed thousands of AK-47′s to enter Mexico from the United States ostensibly to allow tracking of their movements. At the same time it allows the AK-47′s to go into Mexico, it is the policy of this administration to arm border patrol agents with bean bags as their first line of defense against AK-47′s.
Such policy got border patrol Brian Terry agent killed in December. Terry was killed with one of the assault rifles that this administration sent into Mexico. Continue reading

Jim Geraghty said that all of Barack Obama’s statements come with an expiration date, and frequent readers of FA know I cite that all the time. Truer words were arguably never written. There is simply no question that Obama is an inherently dishonest man and events prove it time and time again. In a previous post it was shown that Senator Obama would have sought the impeachment of President Obama. This could be called Part II but it’s more than that. It just keeps getting worse. The linkages between Barack Obama, Lewis Farrakhan, Jeremiah Wright and Muammar Gaddafi are plentiful. In 1984 Wright paid a visit to Gaddafi and Gaddafi then provided Wright an interest-fee $5,000,000 loan in 1985. Much later Gaddafi declared that Obama is of Muslim descent and is a “blessing to the Muslim world.” Continue reading

On a phone call to German Chancellor Angela Merkel on February 26 Barack Obama said that Moammar Gaddafi had to leave power in Libya.
“The president stated that when a leader’s only means of staying in power is to use mass violence against his own people, he has lost the legitimacy to rule and needs to do what is right for his country by leaving now,” the White House said.

Events in the world are spinning Barack Obama around like a top. Barack Obama is ill-suited to be the President of the United States. His worldly sense is really only that of a Chicago mayor, but what Obama really should have been was the Secretary General of the UN. There he could pontificate, bluster, moralize and agonize all without meaning or intent. He could carry on the UN legacy of uselessness and failure and likely scoop up another Nobel Peace Prize for achieving nothing, to bookend his first Nobel Peace Prize for achieving nothing.
