FoxNews’s Greta Van Susteren on Barbara Boxer saying that GSA corruption goes back decades: “I’ll tell what disturbed me…[is] Senator Boxer said that the GSA has a history of misconduct dating back decades, under Republican and Democratic administrations. When I heard her say that, I said, If there’s a, quote, “history,” if it goes back decades, what in the world were you all thinking as this was going on? History and decades? President Obama on a Balanced Budget Amendment: “We don’t need a constitutional amendment to do that. What we need to do is do our jobs.”

Senate Leader Harry Reid: “I think this piece of legislation [Cap, Cut and Balance] is about as weak and senseless as anything that has ever come on this Senate floor, and I’m not going to waste the Senate’s time day after day on this piece of legislation which I think is anathema to what our country is all about. I feel confident that this legislation will be disposed of one way or the other. The American people should understand that this is a bad piece of legislation, perhaps some of the worst legislation in the history of this country.” In case you don’t get this, he is telling all of the Democrat Senators to shelve Cut, Cap and Balance without giving it a hearing.

A group of Muslims attacked Ayman Anwar Mitri, a 45 year old Christian Coptic man in the Upper Egyptian town of Qena, cutting off his ear. The Muslims claimed they were applying Sharia law because Mr. Mitri allegedly had an illicit affair with a Muslim woman. Mr. Mitri, a low grade administrator at a secondary school, from elHasweya, in Qena, 492 KM from Cairo, had rented his flat to two Muslim sisters, Abeer and Sabrin Saif Al-Nasr, through an agent. After nine months he learned the sisters had been indicted for prostitution, so he asked them to leave and they did.
