William A. Jacobson:

State your race and ethnicity, or no doctor for you.

Obama Obamacare statement 12-3-2013 2

The image below was sent to me by a reader who went for a visit to a physician, and was told that she could not be seen unless she filled out this race and ethnicity questionnaire, and put her name on the form.

She initially refused, but they insisted that it was required or she could not see the doctor. The form does indicate that it is mandatory under Section 4302 of Obamacare.

Section 4302 is explained by HHS as follows:

Overview of Section 4302 of the Affordable Care Act

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) includes several provisions aimed at eliminating health disparities in America. Section 4302 (Understanding health disparities: data collection and analysis) of the ACA focuses on the standardization, collection, analysis, and reporting of health disparities data. Looks like a picture of two of the Three Stooges. Unless that’s Larry and Shep standing behind Moe and Curly Joe.

There is a true Democrat high-information voter in the background. He’s probably an ambassador by now. I see they actually put “White/Caucasian” as a choice rather than “Racist”. That’s a start, I guess.

@Bill Burris:

Yeah, I noticed that, too.
They also put ”American.”
I guess that means when you’ve been here for generations and have many various ”races” in your background.
Most blacks here are really simply Americans because of all the combined other bloods in them besides African.
I would either have to choose American OR I could keep checking many various boxes.
I have a mixed bag of a heritage.
To quote Obama: “We are sort of a mongrel people. I mean we’re all kinds of mixed up.”

@Bill Burris:

“White/Caucasian”

The real interesting thing is according to the US Census form, you don’t have to be white or Caucasian to check that space on your Census form. If you are from N Africa, for example, you can say you are white /caucasian, regardless what your skin color is.

I am surprised to see that you can check box “other.”
It would be nice to have the choice: human race…

Carole Merkel
that”s good
